I think I could find 2:1 if it was for 50k hands + a win-rate condition. :)

man, i want to try to play 50k hands at 1/2 NL FR on ftp in february. i wonder if i can get any prop bets on that (with odds), cause i sorely need the motivation

background: i've never played more than 10k cash game hands in a month, ever. i've never played more than 2k hands in a day, ever. i've played more than 1k hands in a day two times in my life. i'm an incredibly lazy sob. i don't and won't be mass-multitabling, i only play 6-9 tables

anyone think i'd be able to find action on this for 2:1? i think it'd be massively +EV for anyone betting against me, but hopefully also +EV for myself since it would motivate me to play

Doubt you'd get much action since most of the people who would bet this think 50K hands is a week's worth, not a month. gl with getting them in though.

well a) given my history, i'm obviously not them. i'd encourage anyone who didn't believe me not to bet. it's probably like free money, but i know even if i lose the bet i will probably make more $ for the month than i would have otherwise just from actually playing way more

b) uh 50k is a week's worth to like nobody on this board, and to very few people period. and almost all of the people who ever have 100k+ months play at least 12 tables

oh, well i'd prob only be doing any bets with CCers, not 2+2ers or whatever. a lot of people here know how lazy i am and how i hardly ever play

If you're going to buy the pro version of HEM, you might want to consider joining Stox before you do. As a Stox member you can get the Pro version of HEM for $45. Since the Stox monthly cost is $28, you save $7 over just buying HEM straight out and you get to check out Stox for a month. If you have 5K Full Tilt points you can join Stox with those and then buy HEM for $45.

Why didn't you spam this 2 weeks ago when I bought HEM straight up ?

You dirty slag.

yeah. and heh idk about 4 bb/100 being easy at 200NL FR

i'm really not too into the idea of there being a win rate clause, at least anything beyond like 1bb, because i don't want to actually somehow reach the hands goal but run like crap/play bad from the volume all month and already want to kill everything, then have to turn around and pay people off on bets i lost.

it's cool if nobody wants to bet, just figured i'd mention it, i could just use the motivation and given my history and how i have no experience with long sessions whatsoever, id have to be a pretty big longshot. figured it could be +EV for all parties involved, as those are my favorite types of prop bets

oh chuck as for the N64 dont forget the zelda games

and my personal favorite game for that system was star fox

lol I purposely didn't buy any zelda games. I'm the type of person who can't play a game without beating like EVERYTHING in the game, so I opted out of buying the adventure games with all the heart pieces and special weapons and shit so it wouldn't cut into my poker time

You dirty slag.

If only you'd thought to post that you were getting ready to buy it, I would have because it really is a no-brainer even if you don't use Stox and just cancel it immediately. :)

Sorry.

yo chuck, Battle Toads is the most unbelievable must have game ever, i think its on the snes, might be nes though

Also, still on the old skool games, anyone know if you can download a ps1 emulator + FF7 from the interwebs?

also combu, i'd be interested on laying a bet, but since i suck hard at odds, just need to clarify, by 2:1 does that mean if i bet 200 and you fail, i win 400 profit, or 100 profit?

basically i suck. help me not suck!

edit: actually i 9-tabled DoN sngs briefly, but i've never 9-tabled cash

meh, id rather 1:1 then tbh, but i'd be willing to bet $200 on 60k hands (slightly more than 2k a day) and showing a profit at the end at 1:1

well i'm thinking FR averages like 70 hands an hour. so that's just over 600 hands an hour for every hour i 9-table, which would work out to almost 25 hours a week. which is a sick amount for me considering i've never played 10 hours a week + i'm in school (3 classes though, might drop 1)

and that's if i'm 9-tabling at all times, and doesn't even factor in time trying to get on tables and switching tables

i guess i'm a fag but that's pretty hardcore to me. all these dudes who grind out 100k months are usually pros who play 12-16 tables and sometimes more, and a lot of them are 6max players which gets like 1.5x the hands per hour as FR

25 hours a week though is still < 4 hours a day though, and weekends you can play like 8 hours or something on sat and sun, the bet needs to be remotely challenging, anything less is really really easy to achieve if you try and i would just be spewing money by bettig against it, 60k at 1:1 though i like
