lol the only people I know who play rush are all absolutely crushing it! Everybody I knew was a winner, until I came to the CC thread

Down 20 buy in over last 3K hands. Missing all Flush draws/ straight draws. losing flips, Either getting no action or coming up against a set when I have a big pair all in preflop. Opponents hitting all there draws, bluffs not working. everyone has top of their range. I hate Holdem.

Dont get me wrong here, I would be totally crushing it if I was winning my fair share when the money went in. AT the moment at least these game are totally crushable.

On another note, the FR (non-50bb tables) on stars were totally unplayable last night, I couldnt find many tables with under 5 SS'ers on them.

Stars representatives at 2+2 have said that they would be actively monitoring the situation regarding SS over the next weeks. I think they know that if they become shortstacker's heaven and they deep players leave, it can't be good for them in the long term as it will end up pissing off the recreational players.

Of course, it's a little more tricky for them as a lot of their elite players (those going for SNE) are SS scumbags.

+7 instead of +16 bi before yesterday but we, still up..

i find it kinda strange that stars isnt changing their table limits.
don't they generally follow suit quickly with tilt in matters like these where it affects a big portion of their player pool ?
then again i dont think many stars (50bbmin) regs are leaving since the reason why they are there in the first place is generally because they couldnt get rb on tilt, or have sn so dont want it anyway.

You're describing my PLO game there - my last 12k hands are in holdem, where I'm running good - my 50nl hands have offset my 25plo downswing...

think this will just have a knock on effect tbh, the SSers move to stars, they make it 35bb min, they move to Ipoker, they make it 35bb min, they move to cake/absolute/UB wherever, they make it 35bb min.

So in about 6 months no SSers at any decent sites !

So this has been a swingy month. I've sold off ~$700 of my roll and am currently at $604 (thansk to a bangin' $100 session just now). Tilted away $75 at 2/4 after seeing how low my roll was and didn't think I'd be able to recover eventually, then just had one of those sessions where nohting goes right at all last night. But then today I play 5 tables of limit and one of 10nl rush and believe it or not--I got it in as a favorite a few times and won!

After my own HORRID venture into crack poker, I returned 'home' to Devilfish (Entraction) after my one month excursion back to FT for some regular 5 tabling 10NL . To much success (Graph is all 10NL 6max). The spike at the end of the graph is due to one player who was trash talking after his top pair (K with KQ) got rivered on a wet board (not by me), giving the typical 'ur gay' 'noob' and to me 'is harry potter ur lover cotter' etc. etc. anyway, I see this guy is 6 tabling and is spewing both on the table in the chatbox, I ship all my action to him which he notices, and tilts hard, he was 3 and 4betting a lot, going all in with marginal hands. Not sure I really 4bet jam KK so deep often, but I did here Also, how nice it was to see my winnings line overtake my EV line for the first time in a while!

He insta closed all his tables after the KK vs QQ hand, I looked him up about 3mins later was playing 100NL HU and stacked twice with ace rag, in true to quote Sean Pilgrim HU4ROLLZ style, and now he's not sat - busto. Dunno whether to feel sorry for him, I followed him etc. when he was spewing but seeing that made me feel a bit uneasy, it reminded of a time I got really shook up when I had a guy that just lost to me with 83s AIPF in a live game, and bumped into him in the toilet pissed with him saying it's ok cos he's gonna go home and get all the money back... I play poker for fun more than money, whilst I tilt from time to time, I am far far from a degen gambler. Meh, I'm sure there's a million threads already on CC about the ethics of poker, whilst I'm ignorant to it the majority of the time, it's easy to forget not everyone is like me and it can make me a bit uncomfortable at times.
