I just realized that I'm going to lose my supernova status at PS in March unless I move up to 50plo before I planned on it, I'm not putting in anywhere near the volume I was doing with NLHE.

I'm bummed, the VIP bonuses at platinum don't quite cut it compared to rb I don't think...

Sorry to hear that sly, but maybe something great will happen & you'll be able to move up to 50PLO & not lose your status. Or, you could move back to NLHE for a bit in order to keep your status in tact.

The move back to NLHE did occur to me. I'm finding, though, that the better I get at PLO, the fuzzier my thinking becomes in NLHE. I'd ultimately like to be able to play both games very well (and to add other games eventually), but I'm reluctant to interrupt my learning curve on PLO right now.

If I can duplicate that huge upswing a few times in the near future, and if I can duck the inevitable 50bi downswing in that same time span, I'll be pretty comfortable moving up to 50plo sooner rather than later though... (if, if, if, if... ) Players at 25plo are better than at 10plo, but I don't think they're that much better - I don't feel like I have a ton to learn at this limit, just want to grind through it.

Ok so I check my bonus status again tonight and the green line is the exact opposite tonight from the one I posted yesterday. Must just be totally random rather than an actual representation of progress.

Love trading equity in tourneys. Traded 25% sunday and took 4th while my horse took 2nd, netting me an extra $60, and today my horse took it down while I busted early, netting me $125

Yeah I've noticed that too, it's either a bug in their web page code or a caching problem in the browser. Usually the first time I check it, it looks about right. Then I'll hit refresh a few dozen points later, and the bar will jump dramatically left or right and be all out of whack. The numbers are all correct though, so that's all that matters!

it sucks that you cant really 4bet without shoving without being committed huh

it's ok. Against some villains i actually like 4bet shoving a wide range instead of 4betting to 25bb as a default reaction to excessive 3bets.

I'm not sure if there's an easier way, but here's how I do it -

1. Press "Prt Scrn" button (copies your monitor display to the clipboard).
2. Open MS Paint.
3. Edit Paste.
4. Select area of image you'd like to keep
5. Select "Image/Crop" from menu.
6. Save as jpg file - if it's not a jpg, it may end up too big.
7. upload

Mostly because light 4betting small (25bb) oop can turn spewy as it leaves villain with both the option to 5bet shove as a bluff or call for a decent prize.

4bet shoving cancels the positional problem and takes the initiative away from villain. If he 3bets too much - at least 10% or more - and has position on you, it's a nice tool to have in your arsenal. Just 4bet shove Ax and premium pairs and watch him calm down. Obviously you should only do that when there's a good fish at the table. Otherwise standing up is a good option.

Its not tilt as half the time I have just won a few hands, I have a decent stack and then I decide to go and try some crazy bluff to try and get someone off their top pair. It is usually when I have a decent hand such as AK or AQ and I just cant let go of it for the life of me. I have been letting them go all night when I havent hit the flop but one time is all it takes to end my tournament...

It is usually when I have a decent hand such as AK or AQ and I just cant let go of it for the life of me. I have been letting them go all night when I havent hit the flop but one time is all it takes to end my tournament...

Well finally got PT3 and really gonna start taking cash games more seriously.. Ive been inspired it seems by the total aewsome attitudes by everyone as of late and really hope that using these tools and picking the brains of the folks here I can excel in ring..

Thanks to Trigga for helping me set up all the software and for the long tutorial on how to use the software and how to analyze what everything is and what it means.
