It was around 3.1k Vpps which is like 10.85k Fpps. Converted is about $170.

Guitar Hero seriously helps with tilt control like no other.

you obv have no clue how hard guitar hero tilts me

As much as people saying, shut off computer and walk away, if the answer was that simple i wouldn't suffer from tilt :), i have like no self control so im unable to shut down the computer and walk away, if i somehow find a way to pull myself around into doing it, my mind would be on the monies all the time. The fact that most of my session start late night/very early hours, when it all goes wrong, ringing up mates 5 hours before they have a lecture, doesn't go down well :(

I have a really really bad mental approach to the game since i feel the need to at a minimum break even for a day before stopping. That is one of the reasons i never ever post graphs, since i feel that from the time i post my first 1, ill have to deal with pressurements to perform (insert sexual joke) and my mind cant cope. I need to learn feng sui or whatever the feck it is, although i think thats something to do with having your couch facing the sun or something like that, you get the idea.

I will try out A Poker Mindset me thinks unless peeps have better suggestion

Dude, just play on medium and pick your favorite songs. You'll get so much better in no time, just play a song or two whenever you tilt to get your anger out. Also, you should masturbate while playing  DUCY?

psh medium is for lame o's. Play with difficulty to the max :), but the problem with that is not being able to complete any of the best songs, but medium = 4 buttons = wtf

Well you're probably tilted by playing songs you can't beat. Play whatever difficulty is "just right."

If you can do 80% of the songs on expert, you are much better than me. My favorite song is Holiday in Cambodia.

Took shot at 400nl FR today. 12-tabled it with 6 200nl and 6 400nl. It didn't seem particularly tough and I'm definitely not going to be switching to 400nl full time just because of the amount of money, but it's definitely beatable and there were a good amount of fish even though it wasn't prime fishing season (nights/weekends) and I will likely continue to do sort of what I did today although definitely going to be careful with the BR and as soon as I start a decent-sized dip I'll quickly shift back to only 200nl. More looking to get my feet wet with 400nl atm than actually trying to grind it. Next step: railhaven :).

Not as big as others, and no graph at the time (might figure one out later), but I've doubled my deposit from Tuesday from $30 to $72 and then won the CC tourney today for $35. So I'm in hog heaven right now.

From $30 to $107 in two days!!!

The fact that most of my session start late night/very early hours, when it all goes wrong, ringing up mates 5 hours before they have a lecture, doesn't go down well :(

It is the same with pretty much everybody i'd imagine. The process is basically as follows:

-you start out with a goal, typically that goal is to make money. Everybody would love to say the goal is to play well, but playing like shit and ending up +$$ probably beats owning the game and ending up 5 BIs down most ppl would agree.
-You don't want to leave until you have fulfilled that goal. Hence the reason it is so hard to stop when stuck...nobody wants to leave thinking about the money they have lost and how it was such a waste of time to play.

Personally when i get stuck a fair bit i tend to redefine my "goal" to just getting unstuck and in the vast majority of cases i stop soon after getting unstuck. Either that, or i eventually realise that it just isn't working and i have other stuff to do and i quit...but that always leaves me, at least, with a bit of a sick feeling in my stomach.

It would be easily solved if you could just redefine your goal in poker to play a good solid session to the best of your ability and not worry about the $$/results, but obv that is incredibly hard to do. What i do now is to limit the times i play to times where i know i will have a decent block of time and i don't have something important to do afterwards (sometimes fail but that is the goal) so that if i do get stuck i'm not in the situation where i really should be doing something else but i don't want to stop playing and then i just start to lose all sorts of concentration because i am half focusing on poker and half focusing on teh facxt that i should be doing somethign else with this time.

good thinking imo, although making plays like this doesnt help the bad run im going through

maybe he thought a sixth card was coming

yes, time to switch I think. Play full time HU if you think you are good enough and at handling the swings you will most likely encounter. 2k hands isnt much obv but damn $2k...heater?!

Well I started playing seriously at 10NL in like February and I had grinded my way up to like $2000 then I lost 20+ buy ins at 50NL and tilted off more playing random games so I'm still at 25NL.

So I guess we're pretty close :p
