Love the 'who is the worst player' thing going on :D
Although I think there are a lot of people here who only dream of playing 25nl atm :(
Including myself..

I needs some help btw, as some may know i suffer majorly bad from tilt and even though in real life im ridiculously laid back without a care, when it comes to running bad i get really riled up and always end up losing a ton of money. So if anyone has any books/articles/general suggestions to help me i would appreciate :)

just to revisit this, there's the stuff everyone has posted - read poker mindset or zen and the art of poker, stop playing, have some hyper-aggressive animalistic sex, whatever.

a few months ago i had a sort of 'awakening' that pretty much stopped me from tilting ever. simply put, if you don't tilt - given that you play a lot of low/mid stakes poker, your single greatest advantage over other L/MSNL regs is (or would be) the fact that you don't tilt.

actually to be honest, there's only so much reading a book or even reading posts like this can do for you. it's sort of like trying to stop smoking while reading a book that tells you that smoking is bad for you and you're going to die and blah blah blah - you already know all this deep down, and reading about it isn't going to necessarily help you stop.

when i take a few beats now (and 10-tabling you tend to get them in droves at a time), i smile. i smile because i know that probably 95% of players would let it affect their game, and hence the beats i've taken have, in a strange way, allowed me to manifest my edge over most other players. now, in essence, i don't tilt now for the same reason that i don't play 94s UTG.

this doesn't stop me from slamming my fist on my desk or something every now and then, but the meeting of fist and desk is just a quick release - once fist and desk have got acquainted then all is well. if you do tend to punch things or throw things, just treat the punching/throwing as a 'gateway', a sort of 'i was tilted before i threw my cat out of the window but now i am not' sort of thing.

237K hands.
Holy crap, and I thought spending 25K hands at 25NL was bad.... And I've built my bankroll up to 50$ NL levels twice (cashed out to build a stud roll on full tilt, fund stuff).

lol pretty soon i'm going to be playing nl200 without moving up stakes. I wouldn't mind at all, except that i withdrew a little over $5000 a while ago when the dollar was basically equal, so i got >$1000 less on my withdrawal than it would have been worth now :(

Can someone decipher this for me? I'm trying to learn HEM because I think this is what I'm going to buy. Also, can you explain the numbers that you are talking about when you call me a donk?;)

Hey, I wanna join this club. I've been mostly at $25NL for over a year.

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I only play 2,000 hands at ring a month?

:(

theres a $1000 entry fee to this club, half to me and half to Sean so that we can both have the BR for 25nl!

Don't really know u that well, but it looks to me like you could use a break for tonight at least. Do something fun, get hammered, wank off, **** the neighbors wife. Whatever just get your mind off it, instead of blowing ur bankroll due to some bad variance [insert variance insurance plug] :(.

I just had the biggest winning session of my poker life :).
Biggest in hands too. Added 2 more tables and was now 8-tabling, it worked out great for tonight at least.
I'm gonna have to play more Friday nights cause the amount of chipdumping was enormous !

There was this one guy who sat at 2 of my tables with 2 $10 stacks and in the end was down -$28, I think I took about $10-$15 from him lol.
He kept raising pre to $2.50 with absolute garbage and I nut peddled him to death :D.

So $30 profit, that's 6 buy ins for me, which is a first .
I think my br just went up by 30% lol.

I heart this graph !
