probably b/c villain is going to pay him off when he hits no matter what and also let him off cheap when he doesn't hit. Also, he has no fold equity b/c villain isnt folding a pair here.

Today at 5nl there was a guy with a $2 stack, raised and called down to the river where he had 17c left and folded to a 20c raise -,-'
Would disturb me if this open fold was legitimate and not an error, especially at 200 nl .

Took a 10nl shot just now, reason being it's Sunday night so fishes should be plenty. I have about 10 buyins for 10nl so I'm not looking for it to be a regular thing, maybe only on Sunday/Saturday night. But I have to say it was one hell of a session !

Ran incredibly hot and ended up 5 buy ins in the profit, ship teh moniesssss !
Had KK 3 times, AKs twice, AKo twice and QQ all payed off. Very first hand I played stacked off with KK v JJ v JJ AIPF (1 full stack 1 $3 stack) .

Graph. 47 minutes of 6 tabling, didn't want to do 8 tables cause that would be a bit too much, both decision and bankroll wise imho.

No converter screwup. Not that I don't doubt he's dumb enough to actually open fold the river, but I think what actually happened was that he timed out on and accidentally sat out, missing his chance to fire the last barrel.

You guys need to stop looking at EV graphs after each session. They never help and make you think more about how bad you ran that day rather than the mistakes you might have made and spots you could have missed...

Yea it is true. Next month it is my goal to not look look at an EV graph for the entire month and to only check HEM for monthly stats a couple times a week. Ideally i would love to be able to play an entire month without once getting all results oriented and looking at graphs.

Fact is, even if you are running bad looking at graphs and "woe is me" doesn't help anything and is far more likely to negatively affect your play.

Brilliant my friend, sincerely. Between me playing 20,000 hands this month and reading this singular thread just about every day, I have learned so much about online poker, getting better, and what NOT to do that I think I've grown more in the last 4 weeks than the last 7 months combined.

I'm planning a huge post on all the things I've learned, because I think these are good overall lessons that "we all already know but should always revisit" ... at least for those of us that have inspirations to play serious poker for serious money one day.
