Certainly poker is a skill game... Luck comes and goes easily, skill is something harder to get. You can be lucky and win some money, but if you d not have a solid gameplay, you sure will lose all that you got.

as in any sport there will always be a percentage of luck, in poker is the same, there is a percentage of luck, but in the end always wins the skill, the hard work that you put daily to be able to learn every day from our mistakes.

I believe it’s a game of both skill and luck. You can’t control the cards dealt. It’s lucky when you get cards that work out. It also takes skill to ensure your luck prevails.

preferably poker is a game of skill if you are a good player then you will win in the long run, well, of course, you can't do without luck either, so luck also decides in poker somewhere 10-15% luck, but still skill and your poker game are the most important thing

I believe it is 75% skill and 25% luck, most of the time you win but the board may not be favorable for your hand and you end up losing.

Many figures are bandied about Luck vs Skill in Poker, but how do you measure something that is basically immeasurable? Skill depends on a persons ability to do something well, and that figure could be tainted by his amount of luck on any given day.
Luck comes and goes, so again it cannot be truly measured, so the only way to find if you really believe in your own skill is to play more than a few games and keep records of how much you are up or down, there are many Skilful players that have never won a WPT trophy or World Series bracelet and still make a living from playing Poker!
I personally do not call myself Lucky or Skilful, Playing League Poker at my local I used to make many Final tables, and have won the League without actually winning a single game, How? the answer is simple, Consistency, gaining points in the League depended on you making the FT, and winning points being in the top 8 places, the higher your finishing place, the higher amounts of points you got and I proved you could take 1st place in the League without actually winning a single game.
Consistency works every time! Sure you can make more money in one game than anyone else on the night, but being in the money Week after Week is where it really counts.
