No, it's not called “job”. I would call it an “additional source of income”. Then I would have more free time and could do more freelance work and allocate more time, for example, to watch a good movie with a beer or play 1-2 hours in a computer game. 😎

I love poker, I play quite often, but I wouldn't call it an addiction, I would rather call it a passion. I'm a careful and disciplined player, I follow bankroll management and I don't spend my own money on the game, so I just play for my own pleasure.

It's not addictive but it has a stimulant-like effect for me. It really helps me stay alert during nightshifts

I love playing poker, it's a shame I don't have as much time as I would like to play more, but poker is addictive for me

Poker brings me money. I'm addicted to money, so I play poker as soon as I can. I don't think poker itself is addictive, but the excitement, the euphoria of the game, can be addictive.

🙂 Poker can become addictive only if we do not allocate specific time to play and apply and respect the rules of bankroll in particular.

If you are focused on poker you should always set playing schedules and not fall into the gambling addiction of playing without established control.

My addiction is not just playing poker, but being able to master this game with technique and skill.

Yes, poker can be addictive for some individuals, particularly those with a predisposition to gambling addiction or difficulty controlling impulses. The game combines skill, chance, and the thrill of potential rewards, which can trigger the brain's dopamine system, making players crave more wins. online poker, with its accessibility and fast-paced nature, can increase the risk of addiction. Players may chase losses or play excessively, leading to negative consequences in their personal or financial lives. Responsible gaming and self-awareness are key to avoiding addiction.

Addiction is dangerous in itself... And don't confuse it with interest... In the first case, failures and gains are not perceived as information for analysis... And if there is interest, then any outcome is just an opportunity to become better and wiser)

No, I am not addicted to poker. I think it is not about poker, but about the person. If a person is prone to addictions, then even if he stops playing poker, he will find himself some other addiction. For me, on the contrary, if I feel that I am starting to depend on something in life, it starts to oppress me inside and I immediately stop doing this activity for a while. In this way, I fight any addiction inside myself. I am just the kind of person who does not like to depend on anything or anyone in life. I think that if this addiction does not bring you any harm, then there is nothing terrible in it. But if it harms your health or financial situation, then you need to fight it inside yourself, and the sooner the better.

Zero addicted. If i don't win i stop playing as much. It's great for keeping me awake during night shifts tho. It still gives a little buzz of excitement

Hello 🙂
I'm passionate about poker, but I only play when I have free time. On average, I play 3-5 days a week. And since poker brings me income, my passion for this game is quite useful for me 🙂
Good luck 🙂

For me, poker is not addictive, I can go months without playing. In the past, I couldn't go a day without playing because my bankroll was increasing, but nowadays it's easier for me

It's not addictive to me, in fact, it's quite the opposite. I feel like I'm not playing nearly as much as I should.

I play almost every day, but sometimes I either need to take a break, otherwise I go on tilt, I can devote time to studying or watching the stream

Poker is something I enjoy a lot. But I can live without it, but I am addicted to money haha 😀

The point of strategy is what gives the game its beauty, always being aware and not going to gamble...

Very addictive, you'll realize it when you're on a crazy losing streak, how much time you can find yourself playing (tournaments). But on the other hand I can easily go days without it.

Sou tão viciado em pôquer que tenho que jogar todos os dias para me sentir bem. É o mesmo para você?
I have played frequently, but I can go days without playing quietly

Honestly, I don’t really find poker addictive in a serious way. I just sit there clicking buttons with a beer in hand and enjoy the game. It’s more about having fun than anything else. The freerolls are actually kind of interesting – you can play for hours without risking anything, and there's always that small chance to hit a big win. It's a nice way to pass the time and keep things light, no pressure. So yeah, for me, it's just a casual way to chill.
