If I can play poker for a living, then I would just quit if I need a break or if I am not good or have no passion anymore. This has nothing to do with age. I would like to play as long as I can but you never know when you want to a break or stop completely.

I think that if poker was my main income, then I probably would not stop playing at all, except that I would realize that the game is no longer making money and I started playing at a loss! I believe that poker has no age restrictions. If you are of sound mind and bright memory, then you can learn and improve. As soon as you do not understand what you are doing or there are memory lapses, then I think you should stop playing.

Why stop? I've seen their 80s playing at the table. They are retired and playing 1-2 $300 max buy ins. I would play every day if I could.

If you are that good..

If I am good enough to consistently make money, I would not stop until I no longer averaged close to a winning percentage of the time. Age would not be relevant.

I will most likely be playing til the end of my days as long as my mind is complete and healthy. Poker is a hobby that I really love and enjoy so have no plans to quit at any age
