I am gaining consistently money by poker and therefore I would not stop playing.
Vice versa I would play even more, when I would loose or retire from my day job.
Poker can bring you a good additional income. And I think as longer you play it as more you understand it and better and more successful you will play it.

Stopping it just makes sense, when you are usually not successful and in minus and you had suddenly a big win.
But even if I had a big win, I guess, I would still play all the CC freerolls or some other games at lower buy-ins. I would not stop this.

Of coures you still need to be healthy in your mind for this. If there would come dementia or something like this,
then it is probably a different story...

I cant imagine giving up poker completely ever. If the government does ban it totally online I will probably not play much but hopefully that never happens. Can I make money playing? I just hope to not lose much when I play overall. I play for the enjoyment of the game.

I believe that as long as there is a desire to play and interest in the game, you need to play and improve! And age and especially money should not be the main motivation! If the main motivation is money, then you can easily lose it! I will finish the game only when it interferes with my family.

I am 65 and do enjoy playing the game. It is really fun for me to play as I am retired and can supplement my income. Good luck to all who play.

I think I'll never stop playing, it's one of my favourite hobbies and I know people who play in their old age and enjoy it! And I think: The poker was great exercise for brain.

Yes 67 but still working !

Problem with still working I’m missing a lot of tournaments but as I can see some players just hoping to reach 65 to play more ! Hopefully I will join them soon? At 67 I should have a lot of experience too but there’s skills and luck and let’s not forget the bad beat too !🇨🇦

Poker

If I ever reach a level where I actually make money regularly, I will play more. Not there yet who knows I may never get there. I will still continue to play regardless. I do believe I will get better with age

I don't intend to ever stop playing, but if I make some good money I intend to cut the grind and play just for the love of poker

Go to a Florida poker room around 9 AM and behold! Old poker players never quit, they just die, eventually.

I think poker is such a game that it is convenient and interesting to play at any age and it does not require special physical actions, the main thing is that there is interest in age and I think age will not interfere

I'll stop playing when poker stops being fun. Age doesn't matter.

If you can consistently make money playing poker, at what age will you stop playing?

Depends on how much money and how much I feel like I need it. Once you are already well established among the elite poker pros, then I'd imagine you'd have a fairly high standard of living (generally speaking) and at some point, you'd question how much playing is even worth it for you as the money means less and your free time means more.

I don't know if I'd ever stop playing poker entirely (although certainly possible), but I'd predict that I'd just play less and less often (in this hypothetical) etc.

p.s. my freerolls are nowhere near being a full-time poker pro, so I can't really say :D

For poker the age doesn’t matter, maybe under 21 or 18, depends on country, you can’t enter casino. The older you are the more experience you have, but your quick thinking can be worse after each year. If I can money, in live poker I will finish in ~50-60, in online maybe I will play quite more.

I don't know if I can quit poker even after 50:icon_bigs if I don't earn at least $1,000,000 on it:)
