I would probably give up around the time that I find it difficult to concentrate and play effectively.

It's not a matter of age in that case, it's more a matter of mental ability/agility and being able to concentrate well enough to play effectively. If I'm still able to play well into my 80's then I'd still play.

I think this is one game you can keep playing even when really old online especially. Long tourneys might be a bit of a problem. Losing your vision would pose a problem.

I believe that in my case I should stop playing poker at age 50 due to mental and physical exhaustion. I think I will no longer be willing to dedicate myself so much to this sport that demands a lot from the person. I already have certain back problems, so with each passing year it becomes more and more evident. Imagine having to be 50+ sitting for hours and hours like my spine would behave. Just imagining it makes me sick!

The greatest thing about the game of poker is that you can play until you literally die. All you need is to know how to play the game and be legal of age of the gambling law and you can make things happen.

I probably will never stop to play poker, at least with my friends for a couple of dollars. I can't say I will play poker online forever, because for me live poker is so much more fun, but until today (after 18 years) I still like to play.
