Hi Friend.

I don't think I will quit, I would just play a little bit, but I would play in rooms where I feel comfortable and can earn some extra money.

If poker is fun, why stop playing it?

Poker and pool can be played at an advanced age because it doesn't require much physical condition like other sports

I've never thought of seeing poker as some sort of job that I'll one day retire from. For me, poker is something I play for fun. Of course, there have also been phases in recent years when I wasn't having much fun and I sometimes took longer breaks. But I hope that I'll continue to play when I'm older, because then it's definitely tempting to play against the younger generation

I agree and believe that poker has no age, like billiards (for example):)

If Poker is causing problems with your relationship's with a spouse or other family members because you are losing money constantly then it is time to rethink your priorities and quit gambling all together.
But if you are in profit and not losing money, where is the problem? I am 66 years old and have been playing Texas Holdem for over 20 years, before that I played many forms of card games sometimes winning , sometimes losing, But in all the time I have been gambling at Card games there has always been one strategy I always stick to and never cross the line.
That is simply never lose more than you can afford, If I ever went out for a card game, I took enough money to throw away and decided before I started to play how much I could lose before giving it up, and never chase my losses, that is simple bankroll Management.
When I was on a roll and winning more than I lost I just kept going with the roll and only stopping when others quit the game, but if I lost the amount I had set aside for the game I would tell them I have had enough and to deal me out.
Borrowing money off people to stay in the game is a slippery slope and can lead to bigger problems because you then owe money that you cannot afford to repay until the next payday, therefore you have to work harder to repay your debt before you start to earn money again.
Play sensibly, Play responsibly and Play as long as you want to, but don't cross that line.
I will continue to play as long as I can, in fact I said to my wife "When I die, bury me with a deck of cards and my chips" I can then die happy and still keep playing.
Poker is Fun, and if you treat it that way there is no age limit to having fun.

When the fun Stops, STOP!

I think that once you dedicate yourself to poker as a way of life, you can play it until you have no use of reason, in short, as long as you do not get senile dementia or a disease that prevents you from playing it in old age, you could play it until the last of your days. Regards.

I am a frequent poker player and I have never thought about retirement, there will come a time when that situation manifests itself and the cards are hung

What a good question! I think that if I could say an age to stop playing it would be 60 or 65 years of age. Since I would have enough cattle to have invested in some businesses and I would have something to leave to my children or relatives.

Definitely there's no age restrictions when it comes to poker which makes this game a pretty cool one.

Chess and poker, one of the two games that will never gets old-fashioned:)

For me, poker is primarily a hobby that always brings me pleasure. So I am convinced that I will play poker for the rest of my life. I hope my health will allow me to do this.

I started when I was about 16 years old because I saw it on television and it looked excellent, a card game where you could cheat and form a strategy to win and you also had many possibilities of winning money and obviously also losing them. but hey, it's an excellent game that can become a good hobby or why not become a professional and earn a living playing.
