As far as I am concerned Poker will always be a Hobby, although I used to be passionate about the game playing on-line almost everyday and running a weekly pub Game for a local Pub, We had a Redtooth Poker League game and the buy-ins were all paid out as prize money but more importantly you could win a seat in a Real Casino game where the Winner won a seat in the Vegas 100, A yearly event that saw 100 players being flown out to Vegas to play for a Huge prize money event and be crowned as League champion for the whole Year.
It was a great way to introduce players into a Casino environment, which personally I enjoyed, and started visiting Casino's more frequently, I always thought they were gaming establishments for the Mega Rich. 🙂🙂

Right now, poker is a hobby for me, but in the future I would like to start playing professionally and make a living from it. In general, I have been playing poker for 14 years, of which for several years I worked as a dealer in various poker clubs and even worked as an administrator for a short time. I know this game from all sides and I like everything connected with it. So far I have only played in Ukraine and Moldova, but I would like to play in Europe and, of course, in the USA. I hope that in a few years I will be able to realize my plans).

Poker can be both a hobby and a profession. Many people enjoy playing it recreationally, while others pursue it as a serious career. It depends on individual preferences, skills, and commitment.

An answer exists in my conscience, poker for me is a profession, because in my opinion there is no hobby in losing money or winning. The hobby is a free event, where you have fun and don't lose money.

In my life it's a hobby with benefits since I can win some cash and enjoy as well

It is in the process of professionalizing it, obviously it is going to be a long road, but I am quite confident that I will achieve it in the long term of course.

For me poker is a hobby. And I don’t think it’s right to choose gaming as a profession. Although, to each his own.

Poker has been and always will be just a hobby for me. I do have a lot of passion for the game, but I would not want to make it my profession. That would make it work and that's something I would not want this game to become.

For me, poker is primarily a passionate hobby. I enjoy the game for the excitement, strategic challenge, and socialization at the table. Although I have skills and knowledge in the game, I prefer to keep it as an activity that enhances my free time and not as a full-time profession. This allows me to enjoy poker without the pressure of being financially dependent on the results.

For me personally, this is, of course, just a hobby, I like to compete with other people in different ways and this is one of them

I play poker as a hobby. I only play online and in freerolls. As I play as an amateur, if I played with my own money this could be a big risk for me. I prefer to have fun rather than take risks.

Do you play poker as a hobby or professionally?
For me, poker is entertainment. But this is a hobby that I take quite seriously and I hope that one day my hobby will grow into something more. I don't have vain hopes or expectations, but I realized quite a long time ago that poker can bring me additional income.

I once thought that poker would be my profession, but it didn’t happen. For me, poker is a hobby, and while there is no other source of income, it’s a part-time job

Poker is a hobby for me, I am not ready to become a professional player yet, and I may not succeed, I will not take risks yet.
