I didn't cash in my WCOOP game today. Lost a chunk of chips on 2 consecutive hands - had KK then AK and lost both.

Went all in when I had to with KQ and got called by KQs and he hit a flush on the river.

Oh well...

I had a similar day today.
My last two sessions I am down 15Buyins.

I'm taking a week off.
Swongs make me think I hate poker.
I don't hate poker, I love poker, I just seem to hate losing money.

In 7days time analysis your hands then pull up some tables when you feel ready. You'll feel good as new.
Its +EV as I don't think I've lost a single pot due to tilt this year.

I am playing fr which makes it even worse. Playing low variance full ring style and still and just pissing money away apparently. I might drop right down to 25nl or something just so that i can try and have a winning session somewhere

Had the craziest fish at a FT 50NL Deep table last night. I'm in there just making my Take 2 points and this Russian dude is like 82/16 and reloaded for the max $100 BI at least 3 times while I was on there (and he was on before me). Unfortunately other than one pot for about $25 I could never get into a good hand against him. He kept overbetting flops like crazy, raising 10x pot into a half-pot bet and when he was called down, he'd have nothing with trash hands like A4o or J5o. Once he did it with something like 57o. He'd busto and reload. One other guy at my table was up over $400, another about $250. I actually got to thinking he might have been joyriding a hacked account, but sometimes when he busted he would sit out for awhile before buying in, so it looked like he was actually depositing. Don't know how long he was there before me, but just while I was sitting he easily lost $400 before he left. I need to look him up on PTR when I get home tonight (can't remember the exact spelling of his name right now).

Too bad I could never get myself into a position to profit from him. My bad luck, that session was one of the driest I've seen for awhile, my only decent hands were an AK and a QQ, and for some reason he folded both to me. We were all limping into flops with basically ATC -- the only one good pot I got from him was by limping into a flop with JTo and flopping 2 pair, and even then I almost folded on the river when the 4th to a flush came out. Thankfully he wasn't holding that suit.

Where are all the damn fish like this when I'm running good...

so brutal

maybe take (another) break? that's assuming that you're sick of the game at this point. if you actually still want to be playing now then maybe drop down to regain confidence and the winning feeling and/or possibly try to play less shorthanded since even though youre good there that's where there's way the most variance and where it's easier to tilt

you just gotta know that as long as youre playing your best, that being the key, youre just as likely to have a winning session now as you ever were. there are no dowswings, everything that happened is in the past and has no bearing on future odds, etc. every day you can start fresh

That's pretty much what I did Switch. Seriously the game is no fun when you can't find a winning session. So play lower until you get back in the groove m8. No point giving up as I suspect that like me, this game give you some extra $$$ which is sorely needed, and it pays for holidays n shit .
