Weed and poker?

I used to smoke and it held me back in every cognitive tasks wether it's poker chess mahjong speedcubing etc now i have erased all the wedge and became perfect
 
Depends of type and how it effect on you. Can help relax and focus, and also can hinder and obstruct makeing clear decisions

It helps to stay focused but each person is a different case. In mine it's positive but for others it may be negative. It's the same as variance in poker.
 
Yeah, definitely. For me, having a short routine before a session helps me relax and get focused. It doesn't necessarily make me play better by itself, but being calm and focused helps me make better decisions and avoid playing emotionally.
