I was able to climd up the ladder to get to Platinum and now I can take part in the freerolls they offer. I'm just a recreational player, so I enjoy the freerolls.

Finding people with the same passion for this game, different perspectives, opinions, poker strategies, but right now I need to focus my mind on something to distract it, that's why I returned to poker. I'm coming back from an emotional setback. I remember when my father said that you could have at most one friend, and he wasn't wrong. I lost friends I thought were real, but they weren't; the friend was me. Not to mention other attempts with women who turned out to be unfaithful. I'll have to start over, and in the meantime, stay focused on poker, which for now has helped me distract myself from it and overcome it. Thanks, Cardschat.

Hello everyone,
I've been lacking a suitable community to develop myself both theoretically and practically. Unfortunately, I realized a little late that I wouldn't really get very far on my own. So iam really happy to be here. There are very experienced players and useful contributions on almost all topics. I'm always excited when there are new, exciting posts.

In my case, I no longer work all day in the fields: I divided my time, half a day in agriculture, and a half at home to play poker

I understood the loose aggressive style! I still can't play it since I think it's stu..., but now I am pretty good at fighting against those guys, cause I understand how these player think. I always were scared of playing them. now I understood they almost never have anything. that's so great to know! =)

I made wonderful friends, learned poker and started my Br career with freerolls training with excellent players.
Being on the forum has taught me a lot of important stuff, like how to control my ego, for example. I figured out through the forum that I'm not really cut out to be a serious poker player, and now I'm happy just playing from time to time, with no personal commitment to go pro.

The forum taught me how to recognize my own mistakes, and that's a huge step toward making a change. I've also made a few dear friends here—not many, but they're worth more than a lot of the friends I have in real life. Most of you are in Canada. I won't name names, but if they're reading this, they'll know I'm talking about them.

The forum is a place for knowledge, learning, and personal connections. From where I'm standing, it's a great community of people who are genuinely interested in helping each other out, you know?

Here a lot about poker in general, in addition to learning from shared experiences and meeting new players

I don't know if I can yet measure the qualities or skills needed to be a professional player; maybe luck, courage, and having the money to pay the entry fee, I don't know... about poker, I think different things every day.

It’s amazing how much a community can influence our journey, both in poker and in life. Having a place where you’re surrounded by players who motivate you, challenge you, and help you grow definitely makes the grind a lot lighter. The opportunity of starting a bankroll from freerolls is something unique here, because you find small fields and, with it, a bigger "realization".

I also like what you said about meeting interesting people everywhere if you keep your eyes open. Poker brings together such a crazy mix of personalities and backgrounds, and that’s part of what makes it fun. It’s not just about cards; it’s about the connections and the mindset we build along the way. Really happy to see how much joining CardsChat impacted your journey in a positive way.

After joining the community, I was able to receive some nice cash bonuses that I could treat myself and my wife with, as well as the opportunity to improve my game, learn a lot of interesting opinions from other participants, and feel like part of a mature and solid community of poker fans.

I started really thinking about stuff concerning poker. Before CardsChat I have not been thinking the game very philosophically but now I do 😀 I haven't been a member very long yet but I think I will be getting some more out of this. Have enjoyed the freerolls, feels nice to play with people that are familiar in some sense.
