I started playing in 2019 when I was in hospital undergoing treatment. It was boring, and at that time poker became a real discovery for me. Now, after so many years, poker is my favourite hobby, which brings me pleasure and money.

Poker was the best distraction for me, the whole process of learning poker kept me away from the street and all the bad things. It taught me discipline, you don’t get rewarded for emotion, only for good decisions over time. It taught me patience and how to be okay with short-term losses if the long-term logic is right. That mindset carries over into real life more than people admit.

For me its a nice way to spend some time

After big losses I have had stress and vice versa. Im playing atm some tournaments and watching icehockey. Good saturday evening going on here

For me, poker mainly brought self-awareness. It taught me patience, how to deal with losses, and how to think long-term instead of chasing instant results. There were times I took it too seriously, and times it was just an escape, but now it’s a more controlled hobby. It definitely helped me understand and manage my emotions better even if I’m still learning.

I just love the game and due to poker I've improved in a lot of areas of my life, like for example discipline, patience, how to deal with losses(actually even with wins...), bankroll management etc... I've also found CardsChat due to poker and I've pretty much learned English because of it haha, CC is a big factor I've improved so much as a poker player and it's a place where I found many like minded people that I consider friends <3
