Not as simple and easy as what MTT's or cash tables you play. If you think it is then poker probably isn't for you.

Being a winning player starts with having or being able to decently control the following: patience, mental toughness/tilt control and bankroll management. Even the best players in the world fail because of those 3-4 things.

I think tournaments are the best way to go. Cash is for professionals! There's not much in it for a beginner. But tournaments are not easy, but rather not as difficult as cash games. Sit and go tournaments are also a good option. The same tournaments, but more dynamic.

My way to earn money is playing freerolls, stacking my little winnings (mostly few cents) and then playing sit&go's 0,25$.
The most important for me is gaining experience and play strategical, but with some luck it can be safe source of money.

Freerolls, freerolls, and again freerolls. This is the best and safest way

For me personally, poker is a hobby, I work in the IT field and earn quite well, so I have never counted on and will not count on poker as a source of income. Although, it is quite acceptable to play with the money I win in freerolls, and maybe someday I will be lucky enough to win a decent amount of money

which can gives more profit, how he is thinks... Because the all people are absolutely different! And this can to decide, again my personal opinion,

It all depends on your playing style, if you play every hand as if from scratch, then it’s better in a cash game, and if you like to compete with others and know how to build strategies, then it’s better in tournaments.
