IT depends on what you mean by playing? I Have taught my children poker games since they were old enough to understand pairs and straights and flushes (So around 6 or 7) and then kind of built up other things like calculating outs and odds as they have gotten older.

In my opinion, gambling is only for adults, as it is prescribed by law. I honestly wouldn't want my kids to play poker or any other gambling. Although I myself have been playing games for money since childhood :)

I think they can play freerolls starting at age 12 with no problem. I played for money (but it was a different card game - called "9") from the age of 12 in a summer camp in the Crimea. But if I had known about poker at that age, I would have been the richest kid in my school, and who knows how many fans I would have during my school years. Anyway, my answer is yes, from the age of 12, but only in freerolls (no rebuys or addons).

For fun yes, I was when younger. And a little prize between a few friends when in person as a game was always great fun.
Not online and definitely not with any gambling site. I dont intend on encouraging my son to blep his money irresponsibly.
We are all potentially very irresponsible when young. Those who want our money love this potential period in a young persons life and take full advantage if they can. I got into a lot of debt before i was 21. Set me back several years to even become ok again.
I dont want this type of situation for my son at all and will do my best to keep him right.

It would definitely stimulate his brain! However, just for fun, only when they are of legal age (18 years old) will I allow them to play for money.

I think there's nothing wrong with your children under 18 playing poker. I think it's the best age to learn to play this beautiful mental sport so I think that any sport at a young age is good for children.

My mother taught me to play cribbage and gin rummy when I was seven or eight years old, and as an adult I've played both games for money. She and my father taught me poker when I was eleven, and I play that as an adult for money too. After Thanksgiving dinner at my SOs daughter's home we always had a nickel-dime poker game on the dining room table.

Money or not they are fun things to do, and allow you to spend time with both family and friends. I don't see a problem with parents teaching their children any card game.

I'm not sure if I can control it all the time, but if they play not for money, but for candy or something like that, then let them play. I myself have been playing with my friends since I was 12 or even younger, and it's very cool and fun.

Hi :)
I have been playing card games literally since I was a child, probably around the age of 5. But to be honest, I would rather read books instead of playing cards, it would definitely be more useful. I am now 53 years old and although I have no children, I know that I would definitely not want my children to play cards or any other gambling. Although in general, after reaching adulthood, everyone has to make a decision for himself.

If it's not worth money, I have no problem with anyone under 18 playing poker. It's a game like any other. Yes, I would allow my 18 year old son to play poker, but without involving money during the game. It would only be for learning and training.

Of course, because it develops logical sense. But of course only in free freerolls, and whatever you win.

Legally they wont be able to play on any sites or casinos until they are 18.
For a bit of fun at home or with friends, they can please themselves.

That's right, you should only allow them to play poker without money so that they can just study and practice when the time comes so that they can decide for themselves whether they should play poker in the future or not. When they become a little older and think from an adult, their training will benefit them

I don't think it would be right to allow children to play poker before they reach 18 years of age. In addition, almost all poker sites allow only adults to play.

I don't know, no gambling under 18. Besides, they won't be able to register until that age.

there is nothing wrong with letting children play cards. And online casinos are completely prohibited.

I don't think I'll let it until I'm 18.
After all, he's still a child and won't understand much
