It wouldn't be poker. Obviously, without money, this game could not be as popular as it is today. And although I play poker primarily for fun, money is like points for evaluating a player's performance.

Without a cash prize pool, this game simply loses its meaning. I wouldn't play if this card game didn't involve a cash prize.

The appeal of poker is the cash prize, just like blackjack or roulette, if they didn't have cash prizes, it wouldn't be worth playing.

I think, in the absence of money, poker would be boring simple game. Everyone would just all in every hand. bluffing would have no meaning. Without the money aspect, most people would not take the time to learn this complex game. A game of Poker is not fun like playing frisbee or soccer with your friends, but it can be recreatinal and enjoyable like high-skill competitive challenges.
