Profitable poker can be achieved even if you are a beginner. First you have to be honest about your skill level. Are you able to do simple calculations and remember starting hands? If you put in minimal effort and don't play above your skill level just about anyone that can control emotions and play a semi scripted game can find games that will ultimately be profitable. Be honest with yourself, if you belong in the Nickle games play them and don't try to move up until you are crushing. Understand the game and basic fundamentals and not profiting is either an emotional response to the game or poor table selection. Now if your asking if you can make a living playing poker that is a different ball of yarn all together. Have fun and play your skill level.

My biggest pride ... I started with a slight bet since we were in the game for four. The flop is very promising, color, line, flush can come. I was almost sure of my success, but I had to look at the opponents' habit, as we are still counting. I just added a simple raise of 80 from that position, with only 3 remaining. The little ace has come in, my flush is in my hand, only the spade Q wins us. I checked that in the end if both of them were just knocking, then I would support a more massive amount. Eventually, however, the last card brought the impossible: Royal flush. All-in, which was surprised by only one of them. If no one has the pikk10, no sharing. But I was with you and the biggest combination in poker.

I think it's possible to earn money. But this requires discipline, proper bankroll management, a willingness to play a lot, a desire to learn. And, ... of course, good luck.

I agree...it’s like anything else in life. It takes time dedication patience hard work and learning to be profitable in poker. You also need a lot of self control. It is very doable but when you are just starting out then you will lose for a while until you learn.

I second this, even with all these requirements u will be faced with downswings at some period where it seems like ur solid approach isn't being rewarded. All this would be attributed to what is known as variance, so a level head at all times is advised
