I wish I would make it that far, too. For once. I always get like 10-12 place. I need to work on my game and find the missing part.

Poker is a skill game that require some luck. Now with that being said Yes playing online poker can be very profitable if you play correctly and have decent luck. I have not had the best luck playing online, but i can say i know a friend of mine that won over $50,000 on pokerstars and he was playing in a lot of tournaments, no cash games. He also played a lot of $100-$500 dollar heads up. So it can be done. The player i am talking about does not play poker anymore and is now a professional Chess player. He won all that money as a college freshman. Overall he has won close to 100k online. He has had times where he will deposit $500 and he will get it up too 2500 then lose it all on tilt. The answer to your question is yes!

Poker profitable for owners of poker rooms. For other people - poker is profitable occupation on condition of hard work on yourself.

Poker is definitely profitable. You lose these $50 each month while someone wins them. Poker is profitable, but not for me now(
I hope that it will be profitable for me again.

That's what they want you to think. The silent opponent is rake. You can go to a poker room and sit down with 3 other people, each sitting down with $25. 1 person leaves without any money after 30 minutes, then the 2nd person leaves 30 minutes later, no money left to his name. 15 minutes later, your last opponent leaves the table broke. Victorious, and now with a closed table you leave with $25. What happened? Rake.
It is no different than sportsbetting. Yes, one guy wins 90, the other loses 100. So after 10 bets, the house has made 100. While one better left with nothing and the other bettor left with what they started with. And we think we are bad poker players. No, a sports better needs to win about 53 percent before they can see a profit because of juice. And a poker player may break even after letting the house earn hundreds just because you are sitting at the table.

winning is not obtained, when the gain is nice when the loss is not nice, I play for the soul not for the sake to make money, as poker may not be permanent, if there is no stability, to talk about earnings difficult good luck to everyone at the table

I managed to withdraw some winnings from the 888 freerolls I managed to get up playing Sit & Go tournaments, and deposited £10 on Poker Stars today. I started with approx. $12 plus a load to tickets using the BOLT deposit code. I now have $24 withdrawable balance. That makes $24 profit for me since I started playing online poker
