Poker is extremely profitable...for the house. Particularly if that "house" is just a bunch of servers. Collin Moshman told me that at a Single Table SNG $15+1.50 a 5% ROI is considered to be very good. That means a good player is making $0.75 per game, but the online casino is make $1.50.

I would say everything is stable, but right now not really. There were 1-2 stories that might deserve a separate post. I would go everywhere, but now it can’t be because of the crown virus, so it stays the tinder until then. And the trouble is that it’s not really a home field in terms of feeling the conversations a bit so forced, I often don’t feel like thinking about what to write back, and then that’s usually how it all stops.

It depends on a lot of factors - skills, pressure on win money, mindset etc.

In terms of determination and responsibility in decision-making, I would have said two months ago that it was a pipe, but at the beginning of May there was a storm, when I was the scapegoat, yet I did not take responsibility. For me, it was a failure (I learned from that, of course), but over the past year, I’ve been noticeably more determined in decision-making, and I haven’t often let my fears provide a basis for my decisions. The latter is progress compared to the previous year, except that there is still room for improvement in this area, but all in all, I think it will be half the battle.

myself have noticed that it has a very big effect on my game, as well as my state of mind, if I am nervous, beeches, if I feel good ....
With music, too, if the music is good, I'll be in a good mood and I'll win :)
Or I use it soothing in a tournament :)

Unfortunately, I have not really profitable. I usually paid 50 usd. but I'm losing end of the month. It was bigger prize you? If so write about it. Good luck for everyone;)

Hello good afternoon. I am new here but I may have some insight into this. I believe that poker is a sport that should be played satisfactorily, if you feel that you are playing and are just losing money, I suggest you stop investing a little, play for fun and after that return with investments with real money. So you can make money and relax playing.

Poker becomes profitable only after you become a semi-professional or professional, for the time being it is not profitable for me, but I hope it will gain experience and one day it will become profitable for me as well. Good luck to all

I can honestly say poker has been profitable for me over the many years that I have played. I play more for the fun of it to wind down after a tough day at the office . Even though I could do more with my experience ( move up to higher buy ins) I choose not too. Very happy to play and win at the levels I am at now. Again Poker is more of a hobby to me and not something I depend on to pay the bills...

It is strange to see how people can state that it is not profitable :)

Imagine if you go into stock trading without any preparation, how would that end? You are almost guaranteed to bust your money, but does that mean that it is not profitable if done right? Of course not, since many are making a ton of money with it.

Same with poker. It surely can be profitable if you devote your time and energy to learn and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

I agree with you, I can only add that the game of poker can only be attributed to additional earnings, take for example various famous poker players, everyone has real work, and poker is just a hobby, a hobby, but just an interesting game

You need to constantly learn to make poker really profitable. Just like in life , we learn something new every day. As my favorite player, Daniel, said: "When You realize that you don't know anything about poker, then you can learn a few useful things."

I don’t know to whom and how poker is profitable. So far, I have nothing to complain about the loss. I have a small profit and am satisfied with that.

I didn’t play much yesterday because I woke up at 5 and came home to the countryside. I spent the weekend with my family, it was a barbecue party, before that I even pressed 12 doubles, 10 of which came. The upswing that started on Saturday also lasted until Sunday, with 26 out of 36 coming in the evening, so with RB and FD bonus, the roll gained 158. So we managed to forget about Friday’s fiasco.

It's proven if you follow the strategies, if you follow hands chart and odds, if you play the right way it can be profitable. There is different ways to be successful player but I advice not to mix the games, for example: don't play cash game with different stakes at one time or don't play tournament and cash game at the same time because your strategy is different depending on what you play and decision making is crucial, if you are mixing strategies it's more likely to made a mistake.
You can for example grind cashback and rewarding system playing a lot of tables, cash game following only the basic strategy along with the hands chart. Because you don't need to make a lot of money, you just need to generate big rake and with time you will be successful. Investment is a must, you can't make money only playing 0.02/0.1 tournaments or 0.02 cash, but you can use it to gain skills and my personal advice is to build up a bankroll, in that way you will more likely to be successful, because sometimes some people are not for the job because there's some things in pro playing that regular folks doesn't count and that is time spent playing the poker. We normal players play only when we want to, they have to play all the time, every day for hours and hours and sometimes when they don't want to play they have to play so it's not easy and you have to love it, even boring parts and the easiest way to know is to try and not to lose money in the process.
Me personally decided to give it a shot, when June starts I'll be completely free with my time until the February next year and now I'm using a lot of my free time to study the game, different strategies, bankroll management so when June starts to be ready to play and grind :)

I'm serious I don't know what I'm playing for. Whatever hand was in my hand today, the other always had a better hand, whatever he had ...
I kept falling with the top cards, constantly coolers, badbeats ... I don't know how I play how I can win.
Today I felt like whatever I was doing, it didn't matter because I knew him ...
