It's proven if you follow the strategies, if you follow
hands chart and
odds, if you play the right way it can be profitable. There is different ways to be successful player but I advice not to mix the games, for example: don't play cash game with different stakes at one time or don't play tournament and cash game at the same time because your strategy is different depending on what you play and decision making is crucial, if you are mixing strategies it's more likely to made a mistake.

Because you don't need to make a lot of money, you just need to generate big rake and with time you will be successful. Investment is a must, you can't make money only playing 0.02/0.1 tournaments or 0.02 cash, but you can use it to gain skills and my personal advice is to build up a
bankroll, in that way you will more likely to be successful, because sometimes some people are not for the job because there's some things in pro playing that regular folks doesn't count and that is time spent playing the poker. We normal players play only when we want to, they have to play all the time, every day for hours and hours and sometimes when they don't want to play they have to play so it's not easy and you have to love it, even boring parts and the easiest way to know is to try and not to lose money in the process.
