I think it makes perfect sense to spin if we run crap, because the bigger the amount we push, the less chance we have of running at extreme crap. The larger the sample, the less likely it is that an extreme deviation from EV will be detected. It might be a little confusing, but I can't say better.

Profitable especially if you moved to the lower-income country. But the profit margin decreasing.

PS-strategies tell us that if we have a monster draw, such as Flush Draw + Straight Draw, it is worth raising and even calling all-in. Because at least we have 40 - 50% or more chances to win. There might be something in it

I think poker is good hobby I've been playing it for a long time, but I can't make a solid source of money. Maybe problame with me . I'd rather just have fun and enjoy the game

If I play multiple tables at once, I get confused because they play 2 tables passively, 3 tables super aggressively, and it's hard to switch straight away.

1. patience
one good advice i received from professionals is you cannot win a mtt tournament in the first hour.
2. perseverance
you are going to lose at times awful losses but you just got to get back on that horse and ride em again
3. adaptability
the ability to change styles of play based on what you are facing at that time

a sidenote there is till youve played a certain amount of hands and basically seen every hand imaginable you still are an infant in this game imho
after play 10,000s of thousands of hands you probably have learned a few nice things and should have a pretty full toolbox and as/when needed you can pull it out to pull off wins over bubbling etc..

4. studying
you have to be open to continually learning (no one is a master at poker) otherwise they would win everygame everytime somehow no matter what are dealt how bad variance is etc. there is always more you can learn

5. Notes
identifying your opponnents deciphering how you can use their tendencies in order to add chips and beat them.

Last thing can not only live on poker alone one good advice from the pokerkid was simply have a full good life outside of poker. Meaning family friends doing things and not being so driven that poker is only thing that you live in this bubble.

You will be more successful if have a full good life cause then you can play for fun. If is no pressure you play for love of it and are not driven by the money when you get a shot at the money you should have a good shot of TID

Very well said. I think these things go to all thing in life, you need to put time&effort to get better at anything. People who expect poker to be a easy way to make money are going to have a bad time.

I don't understand one thing: If the top cards are supposed to win between 70% and 80%, then how come my minus session is because my top cards are simply shit ... And in vain 3/4 or pot raises, my opponent holds and the machine throws his hole ... I know I played well and I know my opponent is in vain when he calls ... but when the flop is 3 K 10 and the turn is an 8 then nobody think that other player is holding your big pot with 83o .. And then what's the right move? I have AK and how do I go on?

I make a tiny profit, but if I worked it out on an hourly rate, I would be earning much less than the minimum wage. I play for the challenge and the intellectual stimulus.

Hi guys. poker profitability will depend on the player. because just like any profession or sport, you must study and dedicate yourself to achieve your goals of victories with this a good financial condition. here in brazil, hundreds of players only live from poker, be it playing, teaching or advertising boy. what really matters is dedication.

Hello!

At the moment I'm playing in freerolls and hope to get a small bankroll for further participation in the tournament. I always hope that you can earn at least 300-450 dollars per month.:captain:

poker is profitable when you set your mind to it, to achieve it you need study, discipline and perseverance, that is the key to success, do not see poker with other eyes, but with those values, in the end you will be right, today the poker is profitable, but it is more difficult to win that if there are more people who study a lot, and it is more difficult to beat him compared to previous years, so if you want to win you have to be ahead of your rivals you face in the tables.

Poker as a learning is like that, with the difference that every situation is different and everything is different, so you can't apply the same scheme to everything. when it takes place in practice. Moreover, the result of the feedback is distorted by the fact that if we assume exactly one follows what has been learned, there is still a chance that it may fail. And when someone doesn't play well but wins, it can make me feel like I won, but I did something well.

It depends on what frame of ind Im in. Some months I can steadily raise my bankroll, and others I just in it for entertainment. Bankroll is key, and I dont always follow it.

I lost a BI with AA, unbelievable but Q10 called and it was his turn.
I folded a BI against AK against AQ, so that there was A on the flop and Q came on the river. Other AA, KK, QQ, JJs were doomed to an almost total downfall ... All1 who, when, where since you gave it ... I already knew I was done. This is very annoying

yes

I imagine it can be very profitable, it depends a lot on the willingness for study and training, because poker is a mental and physical game, so training mind and body is essential.

I totally agree with you on that. But you have to be there in your head and still fail :(

I think it is a lot harder to be profitable than it was 10 years ago. The online boom after Moneymaker won the main event brought in so many awful players and it was so easy to scratch out some money. I have just got back into playing again and I think it is a lot harder to be profitable now than any time in poker.
