Hi everyone! In your opinion, what is the most common mistake beginners make in poker? Playing too many hands, bluffing too much, or bankroll management? I'd love to hear your experiences.

Not betting enough for value.

It goes in peaks and troughs, when players bet more on the turn or river. I see that players overbet pots a lot more than they used to. Having a pot of $75 and then betting $200 into it, to force your opponent to fold, seems a common occurrence. I would not play like this, but some do, and if it picks up being done, then the chance for players like me to bet $25 into a $75 pot, will happen more often, and catch the opponent out.

I suppose the biggest mistake is managing the bank account, but hey, you learn that with time; I'm still learning 😁

In my opinion, one of the biggest mistakes beginners make is playing too many hands. When I first started, I wanted to see every flop because I thought any two cards could win. Over time I realized that being patient and waiting for stronger starting hands made a huge difference.

Another mistake is letting emotions take over after a bad beat. It's easy to try and win your chips back immediately, but that's usually when even more mistakes happen. Taking a short break and sticking to your strategy has helped me a lot.

What do you think is the hardest habit for new players to overcome?

Playing too many hands

I make most of my profit from players who play far too wide and just want to see flops as cheaply as possible, and then continue with any small value or equity at all.
