I've seen people so well covered up now, while playing live poker, it's unbelievable. Wearing hats, headphones, sunglasses, a concealing long sleeve shirt or jacket, gloves, and a mask, including full tubular masks that go completely around their face, ears, and neck, that you can't even tell it's a real person under there! Haha.
Do you think people will try to continue to wear masks, long after the Covid-19 pandemic is behind us? And how would you feel about that?

i think that anyone can do whatever they want as long as the game goes on
If you need information on the table or the player , you should be smart to retreive it from people

I will definitely continue to wear them - especially during flu season. It has nothing to do with covering my face and everything to do with protecting myself and others.

Masks I feel are here to stay. Like others have said Masks will be used to stop the spread of the flu. Once I don't have to wear a mask anymore I will stop wearing one and move on from them. I find them to be more a pain than others due to the physical work that I do for a living.

I heard they try to hide the poker face, since the face is expressive, they can scan your face to see if you are lying, :D:D:D

I will. Wearing a mask has kept me from getting colds for almost a year. Way too many germs at a live game!

Hello. I have become so use to wearing a mask that I catch myself walking out of a store, walking to the car and begin to drive until I realize I have the mask on. That is how use to that I am. As far as others continuing after the pandemic to wear a mask, it is their choice and the one thing that may bother me at times is I will not have mine on.

People still trying to brake the rules and argue about the mask. My opinion like yours you have to protect people and yourself first. A lot of people still not believe in Covid-19, I have a bad experience with that, so always wear the mask as I go out from the house. Me and my family as well.

You know there is a russian saying about that "the fish rots from the head". The same thing everywhere now. They are saying to stay at home and they are the first ones who are not following that.

I haven't seen any games really run outside of Vegas and FL. I wonder if it will come back when the vaccine gets rolled out.

The six casinos are still closed in my country since the start of the corona pandemic I really miss playing live poker and I'll wear anything that asks me, not just a mask if they open .

If the casinos allow it, people will do it. I guess it depends on whether they allow it in a post-Covid world or not. I don't see why not.

I agree and also it’s not even that bad I don’t even notice it now. I have noticed I usually get a little ill from playing in card rooms especially in the winter. But with all the mask wearing and hand sanitizing I’ve been flu free and have been playing nightly at the card room. So might stay for me as well.

I'd like to know where you can get these concealing long sleeve shirts and jackets, my local stores only have the regular long sleeve shirts and jackets. :dontknow:

Precautions are part of poker. I believe that players will continue to wear masks not only for protection, but to protect their tell.

I have no desire to play live since the introduction of masks and sneeze guards at the poker table. If masks are here to stay you wont see me live unless I accidentally win an entry into a land tournament.

Other than that I begrudgingly follow the rules and are respectful of others even though I feel this is overblown, the government solutions are more damaging to everyone, and the costs outweighs the benefits.

Just received an email from Foxwoods poker room that they will be reopen now. Masks and plexiglass dividers are the norm.

Players using extra coverings and hoods can only distance any germs (hopefully) and can only be a positive. We live in a new normal and have to adjust or things can be shut down again. Hopefully things will get back to a safer time.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, I haven't played live yet. When possible, if it is still a security protocol, I will use it without any problems. After the pandemic only if necessary.

We're still waiting for live poker to return here in Colorado, but once it does, I'll be vaccinated and I'll still wear a mask. My mask and glasses should hide my tells :)
