Hello, I'm from Chile and I think that online poker is much more difficult than live poker and the reasons are because live you can act like you don't like your hand, instead online, only the check action is expressionless.

I understand what you're saying but I'd say it's still deeper than that, I've played live poker a few times and I'd say it's very difficult to get a good hand compared to online. There's alot of factors that need to be considered

At this point—based on the little live play I’ve experienced—I’d say yes, because online you don’t have physical tells; if you bluff, you almost always get called. In live games, however, I think a player protects their game because of their reputation, whereas online, they don't really care about that.

I would say in person is better if your able to read people once you've gotten to know the players sitting at the table with you.

I 100% agree, even though I’ve personally never played live poker! 😅
From everything I read and watch, a $1/$2 live game at a casino seems to be full of casual players limping and playing for fun. Meanwhile, a $0.05/$0.10 online game is packed with regs using software, studying charts, and fighting for every single big blind.
Because of multi-tabling and the speed of online software, online players get to see thousands of more hands, making the average field way more experienced and aggressive. Online poker is definitely a battlefield!

I agree that online poker can be tougher in many ways. In live poker, you can pick up physical tells, table talk, and betting patterns, while online you're mostly relying on timing, bet sizing, and player tendencies.

That said, live poker has its own challenges. You have to control your emotions, avoid giving away tells, and stay focused for long sessions.

Personally, I think online poker is more technical, while live poker is more psychological. Being good at one doesn't automatically mean you'll be good at the other. ♠️

Online poker is generally tougher because players are stronger, games move faster, and studying tools are widely used. Live poker is usually softer but requires different skills, such as reading physical tells and managing live table dynamics.
