Hello, I'm from Chile and I think that online poker is much more difficult than live poker and the reasons are because live you can act like you don't like your hand, instead online, only the check action is expressionless.

I understand what you're saying but I'd say it's still deeper than that, I've played live poker a few times and I'd say it's very difficult to get a good hand compared to online. There's alot of factors that need to be considered

Live casino players gamble more in my opinion . They usually have less experience .

At this point—based on the little live play I’ve experienced—I’d say yes, because online you don’t have physical tells; if you bluff, you almost always get called. In live games, however, I think a player protects their game because of their reputation, whereas online, they don't really care about that.

I would say in person is better if your able to read people once you've gotten to know the players sitting at the table with you.

Hello🙂
I think live poker is harder than online poker.

I 100% agree, even though I’ve personally never played live poker! 😅
From everything I read and watch, a $1/$2 live game at a casino seems to be full of casual players limping and playing for fun. Meanwhile, a $0.05/$0.10 online game is packed with regs using software, studying charts, and fighting for every single big blind.
Because of multi-tabling and the speed of online software, online players get to see thousands of more hands, making the average field way more experienced and aggressive. Online poker is definitely a battlefield!

I agree that online poker can be tougher in many ways. In live poker, you can pick up physical tells, table talk, and betting patterns, while online you're mostly relying on timing, bet sizing, and player tendencies.

That said, live poker has its own challenges. You have to control your emotions, avoid giving away tells, and stay focused for long sessions.

Personally, I think online poker is more technical, while live poker is more psychological. Being good at one doesn't automatically mean you'll be good at the other. ♠️

Online poker is generally tougher because players are stronger, games move faster, and studying tools are widely used. Live poker is usually softer but requires different skills, such as reading physical tells and managing live table dynamics.

Online poker is essentially a completely elementary game if you are a sufficiently experienced and skilled player. Online poker is simply mathematics and nothing more.

I think that if we're talking purely about skill level, then yes, online poker is much tougher, especially at the higher buy-in levels. The average level of play online is generally much stronger because players tend to study more, play more volume, and have access to a lot of learning resources.

Live poker, on the other hand, is usually softer. That doesn't mean it's easy, but in theory the overall skill level is often quite a bit lower than what you'll find in tougher online games.

It's arguable that online poker is harder to win than live poker. This is because online players are much more technical, and many are accustomed to playing multiple tables simultaneously and making quick decisions.Variance is a real thing in live play. My advice is, if you're unlucky, just quit. You can't bluff 4-way on the flop. It's suicide, so you need to make hands, and if you don't, you're just throwing away your money.

What I don't like playing online is the fact a lot of people uses softwares to help them, to me they must be banned.

Online very difficult because can't see face reaction also cant show my reaction

I've played live a few times. I've been playing online for quite a few years now. And in my opinion, playing live is much more difficult, playing live requires more experience and skills.

For me, on the contrary, online is easier because there is a larger sample of hands for an opponent and you already know what to expect from him. In real life, the speed of the game is slower and there is no such database.

I would just say that it's different. In real life, I think it's much harder to get information, it's harder to follow statistics, percentages.
Online, you can get these with a utility, and the hard part is interpreting a lot of data, much faster and on multiple tables.

For me to play online. It's less difficult. The truth is, the difficult thing about playing live is keeping an eye on the card dealer and the cheating players. (I wish it weren't like that, but if you want to cheat live online too)

Playing online, there are also ways to make yourself appear weak, one way is by slow rolling, but don't overdo it, because people might notice.

It's not that it's more difficult, but for example, in live play you can see the person and pick up on their reactions, which makes it easier. Online, you have to read your opponent based on how they play.

You know, this is quite different.
I don't have much experience in live poker and neither do I have online poker.
Everything happens faster in online poker and therefore you can get a good hand faster.

But I had a couple of stories in a live tournament.
First, within just a few hands, I hit a straight and my opponent hit a royal flush, and I lost most of my stack. I also had a flush situation: I had a king and my opponent hid an ace. Before that, I thought that in real life, such trash as online rarely happens, or maybe I was just lucky.

but there were also positive moments, firstly I noticed that each dealer deals you hands differently, there were dealers who dealt me excellent hands and on the contrary there was one dealer from whom I simply didn’t get anything. I also noticed that one of the dealers was often dealt certain cards, and I decided to try to open some really weak hands and immediately got a straight from the flop.

Although similar things can be noticed in online poker, for example, you can notice how often a quad or triple appears within half an hour, what cards appear more often and take advantage of these moments, it does not always work, but it happens
