Zero. I just play for fun, I play some freerolls and whenever I accumulate a few bucks I just play a bigger buy in cash games or tournament and always end up loosing. This site is mostly for recreational players. I don't think professional players have the time or make the time to post here. Also, in the US, one of the bigger markets for online poker- poker is not even legal in most states, although they still play on unregulated sites.

Mine isn't consistent enough to call it a monthly income. Some months I'm up, some months I'm down—that's just poker. I try to focus more on making good decisions than on what I made in a single month.

Yes, it's entirely possible, but you have to work on your game.

Good morning, everyone.

Yes, it is possible to make a living playing poker. In fact, it is even possible to become a millionaire by playing poker. Now, if you ask me whether it is easy, the answer is no. It is very difficult. Looking at the percentage of profitable players, they represent less than 5%, and of those, a much smaller percentage earns more than $100,000 per year. I don't know the exact number, but I believe there are between 100 and 200 online poker players in the world who achieve that level of profit.

I live in Brazil, and I only know two players who have made more than that amount so far this year. One of them is Kelvin, who streams on Twitch and has already made a profit of $340,000 this year alone. Of course, he is an extremely intelligent player, well above average, and also has a great talent for playing poker.

What I can say from my experience playing poker since 2018 is that I earn more playing poker than I did in the other jobs I have had. I am very satisfied playing poker.

So yes, it is possible to make a very good living playing poker.

It's possible, but extremely difficult due to the high variance. For most players, it works much better as an extra income or hobby. I play just for fun.

It depends on several factors:
Your skill level.
The amount of time you can dedicate.
The availability of tournaments on the platforms you play on.
Your financial and emotional discipline.
The regulations and tax laws in your country.
If your goal is to generate a stable income, cash games generally provide more predictable earnings than tournaments because the variance is lower. Tournaments can offer a high expected return for very strong players, but monthly income tends to be much more inconsistent.

In my case, there is no fixed amount, but if an estimate that varies depending on the month, it can range from $120 to $210, that's why I only play free tournaments and play the tickets I win in draws and suddenly one or two sports bets, but I have another income, which is the sale of breakfasts to make ends meet, since life in my country is very expensive.

I only play freerolls, except when I qualify for MTTs through freerolls, so my income is about $100 per month. You can't make a living from this, but that's not my goal.

I do, but I don't think there's a fixed monthly income in tournament poker. Some months are great, while others can be breakeven or even losing despite playing well.

If you want to make a living from MTTs, bankroll management and handling variance are just as important as your poker skills.

Well, it varies, my friend. I do play freerolls, but you don't win much; I play satellites ranging from $0.50 to $3.30 to get tickets worth $5.50 to $22. Obviously, you have to invest to get results, but in my case, I've invested very little and am seeing good results at this level.

How mutch is yours monthly income from online poker ?
haha. good question. I always think of it in terms of, how much you get paid for a tourney. how long you have to commit and play absolutely ace all the way. Then concider how much you could get working.. ie, say for now you're making $50 an hr working a job.. so thats around $150 in 3 hours. and then you have to absolutely be in the money each game. and over and above that, fall into a paid place of at least $150. and repeat this every working day for 9 hours. unless you play multiple tables ofcourse. But doing this calculation and looking at how frequently I am in the top 10 vs how much I am willing to pay to play.. I think you're pretty much better off just playing recreationally.. Where I think there is money tho, is cash games like sit n go or rush games.. But again, requires absolute patience... Real tourney money sits in much larger buy in"s. so there maybe yeah, you can make money, but you probably need a big bankrol as you may not make money the first few times. 🫪🤦‍♂ but ye, I have come to the conclusion that I will work for the rest of my recreational poker career. 🤣🤣

As a recreational player who mostly play freerolls and play around 2 hours per session my answer is that I simply can´t.

Nope . I tried , I really tried my best for a long time , but I failed , I couldn't have a big score , big enough to keep on playing trying to win . Many bad beats , many crazy results , a lot of nerve , bad behavior from poker room love chat or assistance . Good recipe to leave a poker room , not just stop playing tournaments.

It involves a lot of things, one of those is not taking poker as a hobby, but rather taking it as a job to which you have to dedicate time, effort, concentration and a lot of study, if possible, but it's not easy.

About $120-$140 a month. This income is enough to partially pay the bills. But of course poker is just an additional source of income for me.
