E o que você estava representando naquela situação, considerando a forma como jogou a mão?
Sua jogada obviamente o fez pensar "Que diabos ele está representando ali? ... Não faz sentido nenhum. Eu ligo!! 'BOOM!' " "LFG - - VAMOS"
I could have had any pair—maybe even a higher pocket pair. I flopped a set of 4s, but I waited until the river to see if a fourth card that could complete a straight would show up. I found the call with AQ highly suspicious. You’re acting all smug just because I lost the hand, but I’d like to see who else would make a call like that—with such a small pot and both of us sitting on such deep stacks. In a $50 tournament, I highly doubt you’d ever make that call with AQ.

GG allowed previously banned players who did minor stuff against TOS or were banned for bumunting to comeback if they apply.

He probably read somewhere about it and misunderstood the topic thinking his freerolls and micro games are now full with all kinds of cheats that were allowed back 😅
The translator says "se achando" [acting full of oneself], which isn't the specific slang term I meant to use—but I hope you understood what I meant.

I wasnt talking to you.

And sorry but u got completely owned in that AQ hand. "I could i could i could" ... but u didnt! U would be surprised how good certain players play on midstakes+. He just figured u have tons of bluffs there on that board and as last player to act. Super risky yes, especially with 4 players in the hand but he was right. That hand is no reason to cry foul play.

I'm betting he made the call because he weighed the situation out and figured he had you beat... VS. that he could somehow see your holecards.
(flopped trips and waited... to let a straight draw catch up and hit? Yah. that makes sense.).

It certainly makes sense—having a middle pair in your hand, and perhaps even pairing up with one of the cards on the board!

I know you think it was just a read on a bluff (which is what happened), but given the size of the pot, the size of my bet, and the way the entire tournament was being played—not to mention that this was a real-money game, not a freeroll—risking a call based on a read that it was a bluff is actually quite atypical, and it made me suspicious!

I totally agree. GGPoker always destroys me on the river, way too many times. And the strangest thing is, 4 players got a pocket pair. It's like a bad joke.

After the river card was dealt, I decided to bluff with my A9. There were four of us in the hand, and since I was the last to act, I moved all-in—at that point, I had twice the starting stack. No one called my all-in—except for the very last player, who held AQ. He beat me without actually having a made hand (he just had two high cards). It made me wonder: "Can he see my cards?" The board was 4-4-5-6-J; he held AQ and managed to beat my A9 by calling my massive all-in on the river, even though his stack was similar in size to mine.
Presumably the flop and turn got checked, because otherwise A9 would probably not have made it to the river along with 3 other hands. So assuming the river card was the J, was is a massive overbet even representing? If you had a boat or trips, you would probably have bet the flop or the turn to get some value and build the pot. And if you rivered top pair, you would probably bet an amount, that worse hands can call, instead of moving all-in. So your line is really only representing a bluff, and since everyone else had folded, he decided to call with his bluff catcher.

No because you would not check those hands on both the flop and turn and then move all-in on the river.

No you did not flop a set of 4s. You flopped nothing, which is why, you ended up losing the hand.

It was just a bad bluff and a good call.

Hard to say what other people would do. But this opponent was a good hand reader, and he was not money scared, so he owned you completely.

I just have a bad experience with GG poker; I win on other sites, but nothing ever goes right here. Sure, a lot more players start in a tournament — you have to win more flips and hold more hands to get into the FT, but I just can't. On other sites, I even won the CC freeroll several times, but here I don't even get to the FT. I may have won it once, but maybe the players here are so much stronger.

I also play on AOF; there the jackpot has not yet been paid in 55 thousand hands. According to the reggae, it is paid out 10-12k hand, although I play with a lot of sc linked cards.

I've played 1700 MTTs before; there's just more bad beats here, as if it deliberately favors the fish and the cards fall in their direction😀 But sooner or later things will turn for the better — I'm sure of that🙂

But I really like GGPoker — see how I'm doing in one of the tournaments I'm playing now. The tournament is currently paused! 1001361512
