Which country is going to win the Fifa World Cup?

How beautifully Messi shot the penalty wide of the goal.
Then he scored a goal after that. That would put him at five goals.
Will he win the Golden Boot at the World Cup?

Would only be fitting for his career end 👍

Easy game for Argentina it seems. No surprise since their opponent was last time at a world cup decades ago and their national league is also not exactly known for quality football 😅
1:0 is easy? If you can't recognize skill in Austria's team then you must draw the conclusion that Argentina plays very bad.

Argentina provided just as much as they needed, and Austria posed no threat to the Argentine goal at all.

My dear Argentina just won 2-0. We'll finish first in the group. Austria was a worthy rival. But they need to be dangerous in attack. The 4 or 5 clear goal plays were from Argentina. The alien Messi scored both goals. 5 goals in 2 World Cup games, not bad for the 39-year-old boy.

Messi the GOAT, as asual🙂
His fitness with 39 is impressive

Well unlike Algeria, Austria did have 1 shot on target vs ARG which i predicted few posts ^ so if that weird scenario is following it's path then Jordan will score vs ARG, round of 32 opponent takes game to ET (atleast) and Round of 16 opponent KO's defending champions 🤔

Not very tough @G0930 should have been 3 nill if Messi didnt take a awful pen and could have had back to back hatricks.

After their unexpected draws ,both Uruguay and Ecuador will need a win over Germany and Spain if they want to reach the next round.

Por supuesto, apoyo a Austria, pero prefiero al equipo menos favorito.
Yo también tengo sangre española, así que me alegro si gana España ❤️
I agree that France, Argentina, Spain and England are starting out as great candidates. They all have very strong rosters and a great combination of experience and youth. Personally, as an Argentinian, I would like to see the Argentine defender win the title and make a great World Cup again, although I know that it will be a very difficult task.
I also think that Portugal can be one of the surprising teams, because they have a lot of talent and players capable of making a difference in any match. In any case, the World Cups always give us surprises and teams that end up exceeding expectations.
If Spain goes far, I wouldn't be surprised either; its new generation is playing very attractive football. Whoever is the champion, I hope we enjoy an exciting tournament full of great matches.

He said himself it was a tough opponent...🤷🏼‍♂️
I expected 3-4 goals from Argentina honestly

And btw @RhinoRyan89 the first goal was illegitimate. ... There was a foul right before which nobody understands why the referee let the match continue

At least two tipps correct so far this round @Risto234 ^^
Current win this round 1,5€ - still could be more. Any success this round for you ?

Let's just say i've had more luck with bets on this round games rather than predicting correct scores in them ... 🤔

If I was the coach I would have another player taking the PKs !

The main highlight will once again be the Japanese fans.👏

Win or lose, Japanese fans continue to set an incredible example. Long after the final whistle, while most people are heading home, they quietly stay behind to clean up the stadium. No cameras needed, no praise expected and no recognition sought. Its simply a reflection of values that have been taught from a young age.

In Japan, many elementary schools have students help clean their own classrooms instead of relying on full time janitors. That sense of shared responsibility carries into adulthood. Small acts like these may seem simple, but they show respect, discipline and consideration for others. This is what integrity looks like, and it’s a reminder that real character is revealed through everyday actions. 👍

Match between England and Ghana ended 0:0

"I am working on Harry Kane," Nana said, via the Daily Mail. "I have shown what I am capable of before, so I know what work I must do to stop him. I am very famous for my predictions. I am not wishing him serious injury. It will be just enough to stop him against my country. I will do my work so that it can help Ghana."

Was a rather disappointing performance from England.

The game was very stop start the ref didn't let the game flow, also Ghana was very physical and committed alot of fouls.

Harry Kane had a chance from 6 yards out in the 86th min and missed firing over the bar.

That was out best chance to get a win.

Onto the next even a Draw with Panama should secure winning the group.

Yesterday was the weakest night of the World Cup in terms of goals.
The Croatians and the Colombians can be happy with their one-goal victory.
The English performance was terrible. They hit the goal for the first time in the 2nd half.
Ghana deservedly won. The Croatians will also have a hard time with them.

Disappointing, but not a show stopper. We were fine in the first 20 minutes, then some stoppages, and we lost momentum for the rest of the game.

We need to find a way to unlock difficult defences, because we'll otherwise be in trouble if we go behind in harder games.

I think so too. They have to work on their defense though. Two goals from Haiti are a warning sign

Brazil played a great game against Scotland, even though Scotland is a very weak team. However, I saw good progress in the Brazilian national team's football. They’ve moved up in my ranking of favorites—which, at the moment, are France, Argentina, Brazil, and Spain.
