More often than not

Jacks - a very two-digit card, on the one hand refers to the elders, on the other hand, there is a high probability that they will be beaten. And yes, I fold them, most often, this happens on the flop: D However, you have to fold on the preflop too, it all depends on the circumstances, on the players and their bets, on what kind of game it is. And for sure, what I don’t do, I don’t raise a bet on them from the preflop, it happened historically;)

In my opinion you can’t throw off pairs you need to play. JJ normal cards and you can lose with AA.

It is not normal for me to fold JJ preflop. I prefer to play JJ when possible but as always, my position, table dynamics and action will determine what choice is ultimately made.

Love JJ and would not fold them preflop. AA is just another pair preflop to me. I have been KO'ed too many times trusting AA.

It is a tough fold but if there is a lot of action and multiple reraises preflop then yes I think you should fold. Someone probably has QQ, KK, or AA

Sometimes I prefer to fold this hand after 4bet and 5bet in deep stacks, but in case, if I have less than 40 bb I will play JJ!

No, it's definitely abnormal, and usually requires heavy action in front of you from solid players

JJ preflop can be discarded at the beginning of slow tournaments with All-in from the opponent or raise to a third of the existing stack.
However, if the tournament is turbo or hyper turbo, then it makes sense to call. The main thing here is not to deviate from your rally line. Be consistent and good luck will come.
You can reset JJ if you have a strong intuition and you understand that you will lose this draw.

It definitely can be, very situational, that's why it's so important to get a feel for opponents range.

You shouldn't fold it unless you are sure that you are beaten (3+ way). Otherwise just play it as you would play other mid-range pairs.

I would think that pocket Jack's is a good hand preflop to go all in with if yr pushed. I'll raise or call on deuces because you never know the outcome.

Ummmm, generally... No!

Strong hand!

Probably better to flat call preflop raises with it, opposed to 3betting, so you don't get 4bet-shoved on and put in an awkward spot.

Re-evaluate on the flop and take it from there.

Playing in co, button, sb, and bb is a different story. You will almost always have the best hand, and whether you decide to reraise or simply call out of position will depend on a lot of factors. Only in rare cases will ICM dictate a fold.

Link other already said in this threat, depends in what kind of situation you are. If is for the big cash, then why not, there could be much stronger hands, even 910off could be disaster for you depending from FLOP. If is it in the low value tournament I will go with JJ and hope it will hold. It's your play, your style so you should listen your gut and go with it, sometimes fold smt all in at the end don't forget a "low" importance luck have.

Depends on many factors...If this is a tournament and an early stage you should put 4bet with JJ? Reset to 5bet...

Why not fold it to a large re-raise or an all-in in front of you...
Unless you know the aggressor is VERY loose you will find
yourself in a coinflip most of the times... risky ! And there are
very few hands that will be played super aggressive against which
you are a big favorite...
In the end it is just a somewhat good pair... not really the hand you
wanna have at showdown...

As many people are/would mention it, it heavily depends on many factors - how deep are you in the tournament, how many bb you have left, how much info do you have against your opponents, what position you are, what are the stakes, etc.
In certain situations, it can be a winning play on the long run, while in others it can totally be the opposite. You should always ask yourself if you win in theory and not regret the decision if the result wasn't in your favour, as in the majority of other alternative universes you'd be winning :)

hard to give an answer without the exact scenario, but generally I try to be the aggressor with JJ preflop so I have a better idea of knowing what I am going up against. Then obviously the board will determine the rest.

you an fold anything you want. whatever you do and however you play is normal. So if you fold JJ preflop is a good thing. remember it is gambling so if you feel JJ is no good then a good fold.

1 raiser and I'd call. 2 or more and they go in the muck.
