When you uninstall you must restart your device before you re-install it again.Hi, software update doesn't work, it tries loading some page that gives and error. Uninstalling runs into the same issue.
It is the same for me.Since the update, every time I start the Client a Clogfile appears on my desktop.

They do work for me, which is weird that it does for some and not for others. But the Flop, Turn and River buttons don't work. Only the Arrow buttons, Stop and Pause work.None of the play back buttons work on the Hand Replayer. (you cannot 'pause' it, back it up, move forward 1 frame/street, etc.).
So for using it as a tool to review one's game by taking screenshots of a couple streets (preflop, flop.. turn) it's not possible to do this. You can just watch it zip through the hand quickly and that's it. Why even have those buttons there on that table if none of them actually work?
It's not a problem as it actually does nothing. Just delete it .It is the same for me.

Played yesterday the first time for a few hours on the new pc version.
I agree with others its a a step in the right direction but we are not there just yet:
- i noticed u got rid of that annoying "beep beep" noise when time is running out and the timebank is about to start. Now its only a noise when its our turn. This is fine but i think we still need some noise to remember us a second time that its our turn. Something like the sound before but less annoying.
- give people the option to turn off avatars and/or let people upload their own avatar.
-give people the option to turn off winner animation
- there was a sitout bug when i was multitabling. Many playars would show as "sitout" were actually on the table and playing (myself for example). Annoying as hell. Please get rid of that bug asap.
- Give people the option to choose their seat on the table.

Due to German regulations, I am allowed to play a maximum of 4 tables. This means either 4 on 888, or for example 2 on Stars and 2 on 888.
If I play 2 tournaments on Stars and these are finished and those on 888 are still running, I am not allowed to close Stars. Otherwise I get a five-minute ban on 888.
A pop-up appears on 888 with the message that I have just closed another client and as a punishment I have to endure a so-called 5-minute cool-down phase. I can see the tables and my blinds and antes are posted in the tournament, but I can't act.
The same thing also happens to me when I only play on 888. I have just played 3 tournaments and one cash game table on 888.
Suddenly all three tournament tables freeze, only the cash game table continues to run normally.
Now I think it can happen. Keep playing the cash game table and wait. After a few minutes, the tournament tables are still frozen. I then closed the client and restarted it.
Surprise, the tournament tables were running again, but I received the infamous pop-up that I had just closed another client and was therefore rewarded with a 5-minute cool-down phase and had to watch my blinds and antes being posted again without being able to do anything.
But that's not true!!!!!!!
I just restarted 888 and did not close another client!!!!!
What else can I do but wait the five minutes?
After the waiting time, I play a hand and all three tables freeze again.
The same game starts all over again, I close 888 and am again rewarded with a waiting time of 5 minutes during which I cannot do anything.
Of course with the wonderful pop-up that I have just closed a third-party client and am therefore blocked for 5 minutes.
This is definitely a mistake for which I hold 888 responsible, as I never closed a third-party client, but only had to restart the opened and played 888 client due to the difficulties described.
I think this crap only affects German players due to these stupid German regulations.
Perhaps one of my fellow countrymen has had the same experience.
And to prevent this from happening, my PC is extremely powerful and last generation.
If I play on Stars 4 tables, this never happens to me.
Maybe the rep can look into this problem.
In any case, I am extremely annoyed and am seriously considering whether I should even play tournaments on 888 anymore.
It's not the first time this has happened to me and especially when you have a deep run and the blinds and antes are high and the effective stakes are low, it's particularly painful.
