No, I don't usually talk during the game. Sometimes when I get annoyed I write something, but mostly I use emoticons like throwing an ax, fireworks and so on. Writing can distract me, so I try to write as little as possible, but I often fail.

No, I can't talk during the game, much less explain something. I lose concentration, and if I'm focused on the game, I may not be consistent in the conversation, not grasp the essence of the conversation, and the result is just a set of words.

Talking during the game prevents you from concentrating. While you're thinking about what to write, you're just distracting yourself from the gameplay. So I don't advise you to chat, better concentrate on the game, it will definitely give you a better chance of winning.

I try my best not to talk during a game. I did give some props to TeUnit today. He offered some good advice at the table, and I gave him a piece of my mind, that he is probably a more aggressive player than me, and poker tends to reward those who are aggressive.

I do admire Negreanu's chattering at the tables. I notice when he becomes quiet, the other players are in trouble, because he is holding a monster hand.

I also notice some players do not mind losing to a chatterbox at times, if the talker is being pleasant and not mean spirited. As if this nice talkative person, was not trying to take their money.
