I actually speak less at the table so that I can concentrate. But there's nothing wrong with entertaining as long as you don't disturb anyone, which is also very important

I often play at multiple tables so I don't have time to talk and don't want to get distracted.
I prefer to focus on the game than talk about anything.

Sometimes depending on mood i start writing but mostly not because there are too many maniacs who spoil my mood during tournaments. Sometimes its really better to be just silent:/

I am a player that doesn't talk to much playing poker, I have my headphones in and sunglasses on in live poker. I know some players try to talk to me but I don't, that just me. When I play poker I focus on my game more then talking, that's why headphones are in so I don't get distracted at all. Music is nice listening while playing poker, that's how much I live music and it keeps me relaxed.

Depends. I prefer not to talk but some people are so nice and friendly I don't mind saying a hello and quick nicety (hows the weather, etc.) and then get back to being quiet and play the game.

Absolute minimal chat from me.... If I make heads up I will thank the opponent for a good game, or if addressed specifically in a chat I will respond, otherwise I remain silent and often have the chat window closed anyway.

I just ignore anybody and play my game quietly. Feel more concentrate that way.

I prefer to stay quiet but once you play with someone that is very good or made a good play vs someone you have to make some comments and either check on this game, its all about strategy and get as much of info you can get from the opponent

I don't mind talking a little bit, a little friendly banter is fine. I don't like talking when I am a short stack though. I feel like I really need to concentrate to get out of the hole.

I would chat regularly if someone is talking about a certain topic and being respectful. But I have this thing in me that if I chatted with someone during a game, I would be acting weird when playing hands against him/her and end up acting foolish

Most poker talk are hate and about bad beats and chat pros, so Id like to say and advise that silence is a killer even if someone chat bullying on you in the chat or even live talk.. ignore it and wait to the moment to capture their stack and soul because of their angry mood.

It annoys me too, and I also turn off all unnecessary functions. And sometimes I talk to myself during the game, for which my relatives troll me.
