It bothers me when people lose whatever is important to them playing poker. There are people I have met in my past that I know lost a lot more than some people can understand at the tables or from gambling.
From money, to relationships, careers, time, family sacrifices, I mean. . . it really bothers me sometimes thinking about what some people get themselves into and don't understand what was really at stake until they lose it.
You should do what you feel is right but there are people that play for a living or have played for a living that have some success playing poker on this site that can help you.
Some advice will seem silly and won't help your particular problem but some folks will just understand what you're going through because they've gone thru it and will try to help get you through the loss.
But its up to you. If you really want to play at whatever level then figure out what went wrong and try to avoid the mistake. If you can't figure it out then ask on this site or other sites or pay a pro to give a personalized opinion on your plays based on your records (that you might not like, lol) but might help.
