You may have accidentally discovered the secret Omaha strategy: don’t know the rules, go all-in, and let the poker gods do the math 🤣Yon666 said:I think Omaha is easier to make money in.
Something funny happened to me yesterday.
I went into an Omaha freeroll without knowing how to play — I'd never played Omaha before. And just to pass the time while I was figuring out how it worked, I started being very aggressive with my bets, and went all-in a lot. It was a tournament with more than 500 people, and I finished in 70th place. I won a few cents.
Why do you think this happened?
I agree, especially freerolls. 😊elflake said:Your post is an excellent example of why Omaha should never be played as a no-limit game.
I got nothing more to add to that, except "very good advice".thedarkman said:Er, you got lucky. Keep playing like that and your luck will soon run out, but whatever you do, stick to freerolls.
