I wasted a few hours of my life there one day when CC was down. Most of their sections are facepalm city.

I spent the entire time searching for something of value. I know it has to be there cause we have a few smart members who hang out there a lot.

But for the life of me I never found it. Their crap is apparently much easier to find.

I could not believe some of the threads they allow to exist.

I viewed the BILF thread (you can find it in the hall of fame at the top of BBV) a few months ago, and laughed so hard my stomach and cheeks hurt for the whole next day.

This hand kept me up last night thinking about it. Not because I think i misplayed it, but because my opponent was one card away from making a royal and beating my quad jacks. I was at a bad beat jackpot table, but the 43-1 shot didn't come through. Would have really liked the +$150K or so in my bank account, heh.

I ended up with a losing session because of two horrendously played hands early on, and one other questionable hand. I know better than to stack with JJ preflop or with top pair postflop, so not sure what came over me. Player stats and reads didn't even justify it in either case. Still on track for a good May, but need to be diligent about not being spewy.

Here's a question then. I'm having a real hard time maintaining a decent winrate at 25NL. After 8.5k hands this month, I'm barely in profit. I've got about 30 buyins for 50NL. Is it worth me playing 1k or so hands of 50NL to test the waters?

EDIT: One of the most frustrating things is table selection. It seems like every time a seat opens, it's to the left of 2 min-buy nits, and to the right of 2 TAG regs with 200BBs.

if you test the waters at 50nl, there are 50bb min tables, which means no shortstackers.

btw, if you test the waters at 50nl, the stop is not a given number of hands but a maximum loss of $$$.
