how many hours is standard to try to make good money?
Right now I stay connected about 10 hours during the day and I don’t reach my goal, and sometimes I do.

There isn't really a standard number of hours. Ten hours a day is a lot, and playing that long doesn't automatically mean you'll make more money.

For me, the important thing is the quality of the decisions and your win rate over a large sample. If you're tired or forcing yourself to reach a daily money goal, your game can suffer. I would focus more on long term results than trying to hit a specific amount every day.

Serious part-time winner
10–20 hrs
Can generate a good side income with a solid win rate
Serious grinder
20–30 hrs
Probably the most reasonable range for balancing volume and quality
Full-time pro
25–40 hrs
Doesn't necessarily play 8 hours every day
Very aggressive grinder
40+ hrs
It exists, but maintaining a high level of play for that long is difficult

I’d rather play 4 focused hours than 10 hours just because I feel I need to hit a money target. Chasing a daily goal can make you force spots that aren’t there.

Depends on what you mean by "good money", what your hourly winrate per table is, and how many tables can you play at a time. For me I think, a question like this is a bit like putting the wagon in front of the horse. For me its better to ask, how do I get better at poker, and how much time can I dedicate to it without this affecting my work, my relationship and my general quality of life. And then time will tell, how much money (if any) you are able to make from poker. If you start out with an earnings target, I think, there is a high risk of failure.

I checked out some of your sharkscope profiles, and you are playing a lot of freerolls and penny games. Spending 10 hours per day playing that kind of games is hardly a good choise, so I suggest, that you start to do something different. Put more time and effort into studying, and spend significantly less time at the tables but playing much higher stakes. Like maybe a $5 average buyin, when you have enough bankroll for it. Change quantity for quality.

I play rarely nowadays for cash . I have done tickets , it's 20$ and 15$ or sth , and I have no time to play them . Bad luck and results discourage me . In the past I was spending a lot of time , many hours only to get fu**** by rng .

I currently only play a maximum of 4 hours occasionally, I really don't have a money goal today, but when I had one I didn't play more than 8 hours, normally after so much play you're not playing, just acting by instinct, it's better to play until you know what you're thinking, if you're not thinking it's all wrong

I really liked your point! In my case, I only need to play with 2 screens open in the game because I don't use any App that could help with that.

Playing with two screens at the same time is easier for me. I tried with six screens and got all messed up.

God bless
Amen! I want my bankroll full but I'm cashing out almost all the time because every time I fatten it up I end up losing the cash in the cash game lol

Brainstorming is really great and I really liked your mind thinking this way. I actually have my social life a bit on pause, but it was a choice.
since poker is not about quantity but quality, it's better for me to focus on a few $10 or maximum $20 sitgos, that's already plenty for me >,<
because Sitgo is much faster and more complete, so my daily routine. As for the free ones, I must confess the only advantage is that you don't need to invest, but the most important thing for me is time. 2 Sitgo 9 players, I think it's good... I'll try it that way

I found this out later when I tried to put 6 screens on the desk. Crazy d++

“There is no fixed number of hours it takes to start earning money in poker. Most players need hundreds or even thousands of hours of training and practice before they start making consistent profits. Success depends on factors such as skill level, game selection, bankroll management, and discipline, not just hours played.

To beat the variance in Cash Game, I believe it's around 10 hours a day, a hellish routine, I don't recommend doing that.

Very good question and it would also be a good question how many benches you can start with for a good gaming section

Yeah! At first, not really, but over time it gets tiring

I believe that the value should be different for each person, and knowing how much to invest would be something interesting to discuss
