Seriously. It's been 51 hours + since I contacted customer service. Is 888 Poker run out of some kids' basement room or something ?

I cannot get a simple answer on why my new account is disabled.


You got my personal info , now I am thinking that was a mistake and you perhaps should not be trusted .

I received an email from 888 advising my account has been disabled until I verify by submitting a copy of the card used to deposit and my ID. So I tried submitting this information today through the link in the email they sent me and now it says my Username and Password are invalid. So frustrating! Hubbys says for me to call them but really I have better things to do with my time than sit on the phone with 888, I'd rather just play somewhere else.

SO all this means is I won't be spending my money at 888. I guess I will stick to depositing at ACR where I have had ZERO issues.

Unfortunately they are going broke and grasping now,i think that sums it up.Going by player numbers i dont think they will be wanting to pay out too much.
i f they can avoid it.And yes ACR is much better,but they removed neteller which has left me with similar problems....theres no real money left in the world thats why everything is grasping for it,and every loan of any sort made with interest adds to the money that doesnt exist,unfortunately it is coming crunch time i feel gl 2 u.

If you saw a tourney called Daleys $100 omaha game...with a three dollar buy-in...how much would you expect the prize pool to be????????????of course its MY fault for not realising it wasnt gtd right?NO...WRONG...its YOUR fault your numbers are near nothing these days.These little tricks and misleading setups turns my frickin guts im so so sick to frickin death of seeing a hundred of them every day on every site...how the *^#@ is this world ever going to get any better with everyone and everything following this pathetically lame habit or practice of deceit and corruption....im just so sick to death of seeing it in absolutely everything i touch ,see or do.

If 888 is folding then perhaps cardschat shouldn't be promoting them.

No doubt most of the free tickets offered for signing up have expired by now, and judging by their wonderful customer service (still haven't heard back , over 4 days now) it would be just a waste of time to pursue.

restricted tab "my888 poker" game ,after skimming through info i think the 100$ is a weekly leaderboard but when its called Daleys $100 Omaha game of course people are going to believe that is the prize pool at a $3 entry.
I know i do go a bit too far at times but these little tricks drive me insane because its hard enough without them,and just the principle of it is enough to rile me.
I dont expect them to make the world a better place i was merely pointing out that every bit of deceit or misleading tactics they put into the world only adds to the big picture.

I kind of feel sorry for them looking at what their number of players has become but at the same time i think it is true justice as they were the first site i played at and never saw 1 speck of trouble in the years of play money but as soon as i deposited i saw all the tricks imaginable within a few days...that is the straight truth,but i would love to see any poker site make changes for the better and become what they once were.
In all honesty i think all sites are starting to suffer for not keeping a straight game on the table.
When you add it all up,we have many many people in the world with thousands of dollar a day habits...and what feeds them is theft on every scale in every type of business on earth,so maybe thats why almost no business can put a straight game on the table for long before getting rolled or becoming corrupted,and thats without even counting people in positions of power that are just plain greedy with or without any habits...
Its a bit like that song,where did all the good people go,they keep getting eaten up literally and laterally thinking.:flute:

The checks i can understand and fully agree with,but blocking accounts in the meantime is not helpful to anyone and seems to be done far too often unwarranted,and 9 times out of 10 it is exactly that.
I mean to say any withdrawl or transfer needs to be approved first...correct???So how on earth does any site justify blocking peoples accounts.Almost every case of it i have seen has been nothing short of harassment ,or maybe they are simply collecting brownie points from the ,for lack of better words "satanic" system that has been running the show and pulling all the strings by causing stress and misery in others lives.
People are waking up because they see it everywhere in every way ,shape and form,online poker is a mere drop in the bucket.
Gl anyway 888,hope you manage to stay afloat.I mean that sincerely.

Finally got an answer. Took all that time to request documents & I.D.
I'm not certain if I should bother.

Maybe I will ,,, and then see if I can get those expired tickets re-instated. At least I can gripe here and it counts for posts.. lol

Make sure you uninstall all 888poker files then you must restart your device before installing again.

Day 7 since trying to open an 888 account. Uploaded my ID and proof of address yesterday after my last post here. Curious how long it will take to verify. Judging by the last response it will be sometime next week. Then I expect another 4-5 days before I get an answer on re-instating free tickets.

Now waiting on the answer about the 8$ promotional $ or tickets. Has anyone successfully gotten this after going through all this verification and stalling?

I'm glad you were able to obtain clearance today.

The 888poker rep is doing their best to answer questions or assist with issues as they come so please be patient. I'm pretty sure they don't 'fix' anything but they do try to help with issues until there are answers.

Sorry if I am coming off as impatient.

But, as some others have pointed out, there are a lot of tricks being played on consumers and I feel they really should be held to account. At least others can see by my experience what you have to go through to get, or perhaps not get, what is offered.

I suppose if I had made a deposit I perhaps would be treated a little more seriously. But then again it probably still would have taken this long, as others in this thread have said.

Anyway , let's see if they pay out that 8$ or not. I will keep you posted if and when I hear back, or not at all. I guess it will take until Tuesday or Wednesday to get an answer.

And my apologies to the 888 rep, it can't be any easy job. I hope you understand and don't take it personally.

When i first deposited at 888 i got 100% bonus plus some good tickets including a 10k freeroll or two,back in the day lol.
One of those 10k freerolls i was flying,something like 7th with 700/10,000 players left but its been a while so my numbers may be wrong...then a storm blew in and knocked out the internet and tv for about half hour or so and came back to something like 250th with 450 players left,something along those lines anyway...so i all-in with j5 diamonds i think out of frustration and trying to get back to where i was lol lol,im so sure my serious game is capable of great results,but then theres always another mountain in the way lol gl at the tables
