The headliner of the series is the $3,500 buy-in WPT Cyprus Championship tat takes place from Aug. 19-24.
The Championship event will feature a $2 million guaranteed prize pool and three starting flights, giving players multiple opportunities to join the prestigious WPT Champions Club. The WPT Cyprus Championship final table will be livestreamed for poker fans around the world to follow the action.
Both festivals are expected to attract players from across Europe and around the globe for two premier poker experiences in one of the Mediterranean’s most popular destinations. The second half of the World Poker Tour Season 24 schedule will continue to build momentum throughout the second half of the year with additional marquee stops around the globe set to be announced in the coming weeks.
Players and fans can look forward to WPT stops at WPT Cyprus at Chamada Prestige Hotel and Spa this August, WPT Australia at The Star Sydney in September, WPT bestbet Scramble at bestbet Jacksonville in September, WPT Prime Lodge in September at The Lodge Club in Austin, Texas, WPT Bay 101 Shooting Star in October at Bay 101 Casino in San Jose, California, WPT Venetian in October/November at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, and the WPT World Championship in December at Wynn Las Vegas.
