FanDuel is known for sports betting and casino gaming, but the brand also offers prediction markets through FanDuel Predicts. The app is separate from other FanDuel platforms and allows players to invest in future outcomes across categories such as finance and politics. While there’s no current FanDuel Predicts welcome bonus, FanDuel offers $200 in bonus bets when you sign up on their sportsbook.

FanDuel Predicts features a short, simple sign-up process. Remember that FanDuel Predicts is a separate app from the core FanDuel Sportsbook and Casino product. However, if you already have an account with FanDuel, you can register and start trading on prediction markets straight away.

Download it from the App Store or Google Play. Search “FanDuel Predicts” to find it.

This is required to ensure you’re in a market where FanDuel Predicts is allowed. It will also tailor the available markets to your jurisdiction.

This will open the sign-up window. Type in your email there to get started. Enter your name, address, and phone number, as well.

FanDuel asks about your employment status, occupation, income, and source of funds to help prevent fraud.

Check the appropriate boxes to agree to FanDuel Predicts’ terms and conditions.

Once your account is created, you can deposit funds using a debit card or online banking and start trading immediately.

This may seem like a lot of steps, but the reality isn’t so daunting. I signed up for FanDuel Predicts and made my first trade within five minutes. I was able to join using my existing FanDuel account, but I still had to enter the additional required info from steps 3 to 6.
While FanDuel is known for its promotions in other sectors, the FanDuel Predicts app has no ongoing promotions. We reviewed the entire app thoroughly and found no specials, rewards, or bonuses available. The absence of FanDuel Predicts promos stands in stark contrast to competitors such as Kalshi, which include volume and liquidity bonuses for players who drive significant movement in select markets. Additionally, both Polymarket and Kalshi offer $10 welcome bonuses to get you started.
Of course, it’s possible FanDuel Predicts could change its tune in the future. If we catch wind of any promos from the predictions site, we’ll provide details here.
Prediction markets work similarly to financial exchanges. You buy contracts with a particular outcome (usually a Yes or No answer to a certain question) and get rewarded if you invest in the correct outcome.
It may sound similar to traditional betting, but it differs in a key way. Prices move based on news and external developments, as well as player activity. You may purchase a “Yes” contract at $0.67, only for its price to change. If that’s the case, you can wait it out for a potential profit or, depending on how the price moves, you can sell the contracts to lock in an early profit or limit a potential loss.
Prices range from $0.01 to $1.00 and represent the probability of a given outcome. For example, a price of $0.67 indicates a 67% likelihood of the outcome. FanDuel Predicts lets you view prices in dollars, American odds, percentages, or multipliers.

Remember that you can buy multiple contracts at once, and there are fees attached to any contract trade you make at FanDuel Predicts, which is often 2%.
Prediction markets can cover a wide range of outcomes, including sports, politics, and more. Note that these categories vary based on the state you’re in, so you may not see all of them available at FanDuel Predicts.

FanDuel Predicts features a strong user interface, a smooth mobile app, and rapid updates. The only issue, in my opinion, is that it currently lacks sufficient market depth and variety, especially compared to Crypto.com.
FanDuel Predicts is a separate app from the FanDuel Sportsbook and casino app. You can download it from the iOS App Store or Google Play. Though the app is standalone, it has all the same aesthetics and features of other FanDuel apps, which is to say: it’s very good.
We came away from using the app thinking it was one of the better user experiences we’ve had with a predictions app. Everything felt right at home in FanDuel’s existing vibe. We also liked the default odds listing as multipliers, which made it really easy to see how much we’d earn if the prediction was correct.
The only downfall of the FanDuel Predicts app isn’t much of a downfall at all; it’s just that there’s no other option. We’re used to prediction markets platforms offering both desktop and mobile options, such as Kalshi and Crypto.com, but FanDuel Predicts is mobile-only.
What We Like
Incredible user interface and smoother user experience than Polymarket
Displays custom prices between multipliers, traditional odds, US dollars, or percentages
Learn tab for new players, which takes you to the FAQ and helpful prediction market guides
What We Don’t Like
Fairly bare bones with its market depth compared to Kalshi
No welcome bonus and ongoing promotions, which puts it behind Novig
You can’t use FanDuel Sportsbook or Casino wallet funds to trade on predictions
The short answer here is yes. The longer, more accurate, and more complex answer is that prediction markets are under significant scrutiny right now. Their legality isn’t necessarily in question, but some states are battling to prevent specific markets from being offered.
FanDuel is regulated at the federal level by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. As prediction markets function like commodities/futures, they fall under this umbrella.
For now, FanDuel is legal in all states, with 18 offering sports trading contracts. However, states such as Illinois are clamping down on prediction markets. Always double-check the rules for your state in the FanDuel Predicts app if you’re uncertain whether it’s allowed. Geolocation will also ensure you see only markets permitted in your state.
FanDuel Predicts is from a major betting company looking to make a mark in the prediction market space. While it’s off to a successful start, FanDuel Predicts may not be for everyone. Fortunately, there are several alternatives available, including those we feature below.
FanDuel Predicts offers two simple deposit methods: debit card and online banking. These are also the only available withdrawal methods. It’d be nice to have Apple/Google Pay, but even then, you still need a connected debit card for it to work. Kalshi offers both Apple/Google Pay and cryptocurrency for a wider range of options.
Due to the financial nature of prediction markets, credit cards and similar methods cannot be used to deposit. Additionally, you can’t use FanDuel Predicts accounts at FanDuel Casino or Sportsbook, nor can you transfer funds from the latter into the former.
Online banking is the slower method for both deposits and withdrawals. Some funds may be available instantly, while remaining funds may be subject to a 1-2 day delay. Debit card deposits are instant.
FanDuel Predicts doesn’t have a welcome bonus, so there aren’t any terms to know yet. If the site eventually offers a welcome bonus, you can expect at least a 1x playthrough, as with their sportsbook welcome offer (bet $5, get $200 in bonus credits).
FanDuel Predicts has a single support channel: live chat. While disappointing, this suggests FanDuel appears to have a more focused customer support approach.
We tested the live chat and, unfortunately, initially encountered a bot. It requested our state and allowed us to enter a question. We asked about withdrawal minimums, but the AI bot (FanDuel Coach) didn’t know the answer, so it immediately redirected us to an agent who answered promptly and provided plenty of helpful details. It was a refreshing change of pace, considering how often AI bots can derail the support process.
If you want to know whether FanDuel Predicts’ welcome bonus measures up against the competition, we have a single, disappointing word for you: no. This is simply because it does not exist. It’s surprising that such a juggernaut in the industry doesn’t incentivize new players, and we fully expect FanDuel to rectify this big miss soon.
Outside of its lack of a welcome bonus, FanDuel Predicts gets a lot right. It has a smooth app with many options that make navigation a breeze. It’d be nice to have more markets, but there’s a lot of time for the platform to grow. Deposits and withdrawals are quick and easy as well.
Overall, FanDuel Predicts feels like a new venture from an experienced company. It has some problem areas, but I expect it will improve significantly over the coming months and years.
FanDuel Predicts doesn’t currently offer a welcome bonus, so there’s no promo code available. You can sign up and make a deposit, but you won’t receive a welcome bonus at this time.
There’s no FanDuel Predicts welcome bonus available yet. If FanDuel Predicts offers one in the future, we will update this page with details. Instead, they have a sportsbook-only offer, where you can bet $5 on their sportsbook and get $200 in bonus bets.
The exact markets available to you will vary by state. Generally, you can expect sports, finance, commodities, and other types of markets. Check the FanDuel Predicts app after geolocating to see which markets are available to you.
Yes. FanDuel Predicts is operated in partnership with CME Group and is registered with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). FanDuel Predicts is a member of the National Futures Association as well. Although state-by-state status varies, FanDuel Predicts has all the approvals it needs to operate in most markets.
Find the market you wish to trade on and select your preferred outcome (usually Yes or No). Select it, then type how much you’d like to buy. The site will assess how many contracts you can buy with your desired amount and will add any applicable fees to that amount. Place your trade, and you’re all set.
No. FanDuel Predicts is a standalone app and must be downloaded separately. You can access it using your FanDuel Casino or Sportsbook credentials, but you can’t share money between those accounts and FanDuel Predicts.
