Some players feel more comfortable playing online because they can focus and play more hands.
Others think live poker is easier because you can read people and the game moves slower.
Where do you think you perform better — online or live?

I play better live. For me, at least, the main advantage of playing in person is that it's simply more fun. Much more fun. There's a human and social element to it. You're not playing against some faceless, soulless internet thing, which might even be a bot, for all you know: you're playing against your friend. There's an element of communication and human interaction that significantly enhances the experience.

Me, myself I never played offline, so I cannot really compare, but from my poin of view, when you are at home and cozy, it's really comfortable, instead of driving somewhere, registering there, being dependant on their breaks, the noises there. ANd in the end, you can win the same amount of money.
But maybe if I would go to an offline tourney, I would like it, too. Those two are different expereiences, and the more I think about it, maybe it is not really possible to compare them directly against each other, because they have their own pros and contras. Maybe it even depends on the type of person one is. Some people like being inside the society, inside the rush. Others prefer silence. Others again don't care, they are just playing their game and don't put too much thought in it, yes, maybe those are the best types. Being able to adjust in any circumstances and make the best of the situation, instead of thinking: I will always only play online, because it suits me more; or: I will always play offline only, because it suits me more; that seems kind of like restricting yourself to one habit.

I think that playing online is only 30% skill. The remaining 70% is determined by the App. Beadbad rotation does not leave anyone behind. And in live play, the skill is 70%.

Honestly, I've never played live))))) I don't count with friends)

I haven't played live yet and I don't plan to do so until I win a ticket through an online satellite.

My life is too busy working, swimming, diving, racing, etc.

I love both, but for different reasons. I play more online just because of ease and convenience, but I do like to play live when I can.

I've never played live, as I think I would be terrible at hiding tells, like I would probably clap my hands when I have a monster as I clap my hands when I'm happy 😂, so for that reason I'll stick to online

Honestly, go for it. That first live casino experience is something you never forget.
I personally prefer live poker over online, and the reason is exactly what you're about to discover — the people.
Online is convenient, sure. You can play from your couch, multi-table, use stats. But there's something fundamentally missing. You have no idea who is sitting across from you. Is he bluffing? Is he nervous? Is he confident or just reckless? Online you're basically guessing based on betting patterns alone.
Live poker is a completely different game. You can see the person. You notice when someone's hands are shaking slightly when they bet. You notice when someone avoids eye contact. You notice the difference between a confident bet and a nervous one. That human element changes everything.
My first time in a casino I was honestly intimidated. Everyone looked like they knew exactly what they were doing and I felt like I had "tourist" written on my forehead. But within an hour I realized something — most people at the table are just as uncertain as you are. They just hide it better.
The other thing nobody tells you about live poker is how much slower it is. Online you're used to seeing 60-80 hands per hour. Live you'll see maybe 25-30. At first it feels frustrating. Then you realize it gives you so much more time to think, observe and read the table.

In most cases, online play is the only option.

I prefer live tournaments, but unfortunately, there are only a few options in Hungary.

I play on 888 but there are Sooo many applications that you can play on. Some of them are based in other countries tho... I suggest playing in regional sites. That way you're only playing with certain players. Which tends to be more fishy. Stay away from big names like gg,88,stars,acr,coin,gold. Unless you wanna get killed by grinders and pros.

I would only go there for the deals and freerolls. I would only deposit in regional sites.

Whoops I didn't read the actual question lmao.
Ived never played for real. Only online. Live poker is always going to be much better than online. Because you can actually know the other person across from you. In online you could be playing with anyone. That you might not want to play with. Because of reasons. Unless obviously playing in a casino. Then at that point you might as well just play online.

So basically I prefer home games compared to randoms. Be it either online or live. They're always better. Playing with people you trust is waaay better than giving money to anybody.
