I tend not to chat online, not for any other reason than I tend to lose concentration on my game. I'm still not confident enough to play on auto-pilot/instincts as it were and I have to carefully think about what I'm doing. Having to type up a conversation is just taking away from that available concentration level.

If I'm playing with friends (and maybe if I play in person at a casino), I'd talk more but thats because speaking requires less effort and concentration that typing I find.

I play much better when I’m chatting in live game. But I don’t talk about the hands. I’m talk sports /politics/music/ TV shows/movies. I feel it’s too easy to overthink the hands. And there’s at lot of people on the table so having a broad awareness is important to me. I like to listen to how other talk about their hand but rather not engage in conversation about a hand. I get asked often what I have after a fold and I can’t figure whether to lie or tell the truth

I don't like talking on tables. I find it too distracting. Can't concentrate on the game too.

I'm not a big taker, I don't mind a little hear and there but I couldn't carry an ongoing conversation for long. I prefer to take a more enemy approach to it rather than friends not that it would change my play, I'm just very competitive and hate most people

Only a small percentage of players can use chatter wisely. And this has the opposite property - if you do not know how to manipulate opponents, and are not able to keep your mouth shut, you can easily impersonate yourself. A professional will instantly see if you are bluffing or holding the nuts.

no, I prefer to play concentrated and not talk, I have always played that way, I have seen many players who start talking a lot at the regular tables, sending emoticons all the time, but in my case that does not happen.

no, dont talk/chat at all... it usually turned off anyway...

there are few exceptions, sometimes when i see a known player, reg who i knew for long time, even that usually happens just in heads-ups...

Basically i prefer not to talk, just because this don,t give anything at all. Sometimes you can type something like, good hand, or well player. But usually people who play couple of tables don,t say something.

Like to chat in live games. But I talk about other things
Aware of the rules about talking about a hand while it’s being played so I don’t chat
about the hand until it’s over
I might general comments like.
“ hands not good” then fold. This doesn’t influence the action.
Sometimes I can tell player says or acts in a way that is opposite to their betting action. And they always do that ALL the Time . So it’s an easy tell
I try not to have so this So I look fairly straightforward in my betting action
However there are times that I will act weak when I’m strong or strong when I’m weak and because player think I’m a ABC player I either get paired off or they will fold to a bluff

I don't like to talk during the game, i losse concetration too, só i prefer to be in my zone and concetrate in the game . It's important to play atention with what others players are saying during the game, but be focus it's more important.
