Day or night session?

Nighttime poker is nicer. Nice atmosphere with less disruptions. It is much easier to focus and I think there are more casual players around during night time, especially weekends so the game becomes more profitable. And I also enjoy staying up late.

during daytime there are usually other activities of more importance . work ,outdoor fun , beach , sports etc . i dont feel like i'm wasting my time and energy as much after the sun has gone down .

Since poker tourneys start in the evening, I love a long night run. Me being a night owl gives me the perfect opportunity to play some nice poker and make sure I don't become the bubble boy.

My personal preference would be during the day (I have slept during some breaks at night), but since I currently only have time for it at night ,nighttime sessions! (at least it's a peaceful time of day)

I play poker during the day, when there is more player traffic and a larger number of tournaments available. It also helps me organize my day better.

I have to attend in classes in the early morning, so playing in late night is bad for me I guess.

I enjoy both, but night sessions are usually quieter and help me focus better. The key is playing when you're mentally sharp and making your best decisions.

I play mostly when our CardsChat freerolls are on. I play in the evenings and combine playing in our freerolls with other tournaments.

I prefer playing in the evening. There are usually more players online, the games are more active, and I can focus better after finishing my daily responsibilities. Being relaxed and free from distractions helps me make better decisions at the table

It's more convenient for me to play poker at night, when there are fewer distractions and I can focus better on decisions. In addition, I tend to find tables with more recreational players, especially on weekends, which makes the game more interesting and, at times, more profitable.
Anyway, I think the best schedule depends a lot on each person. If you're tired or don't want to think, no matter how good the table is: you're probably not going to play your best poker.

The daytime field can easily be weaker than the evening one. A few years ago, I saw plenty of examples of this at tournaments. And when the nocturnal lifestyle got to me completely, I'd switch to the daytime rink. Sure, you can't win big there, but you can live a human life, seeing the light of day and waking up in the morning instead of falling asleep.The daytime fields were especially good on Monday, when a horde of top regs are resting after the Sunday majors.

Definitely play in the evening. My peak energy and productivity falls in the second half of the day. So, playing in the evening is simply ideal; even if you're feeling energetic, you can stay up until the morning and play peacefully.

For me, it's usually at night. There are fewer distractions, I can focus better, and I don't feel rushed. I also find it easier to stay in the right mindset for longer sessions. That said, if I'm tired, I'd rather skip playing than force a session—being mentally sharp matters more than the time of day.

If your main goal is to maximize EV → look for the time when the weakest players are playing.
If your goal is to maximize your own performance → play when you are at your sharpest.
If you can combine both → you've found your ideal playing time.

Is hard to me to organize my day to play in the mornings, even on the weekend. Saturdays or Sundays I play after the lunch, and if I can play during the week, I play just a small session at 5pm of my local time. In Argentina we get dinner late, so I finish by that time.
