The statment is very clear. I am not a moron ( I hope ), so I have to admit - yes, the online poker is rigged.
This is most probably the reason I can win.
But I'am still curious - how did you come to this conclusion?

I think there is some truth in that. I play at gg and lot’s of times have 97 or higher % to win but as soon as the money goes in the 1 or 2 outer hits. Compared to an other site holland casino ( country owned ) I noticed less flushes and 1 and 2 outers. Almost like a live game. At gg I wish you could sidebet on the outcome. lol after lots of hours playing you somehow know and or feel what’s going to happen. The new site I had to adjust my game because I was used playing at gg a did not make cb or ccb’s when you have to. I got so scared of the one and two outers lol

I know your frustration, I think that every poker player could have the same filing almost once. So. You'll have a hard work to prove your thoughts. If so. A lot of of players will thank you for.

If you're playing on a regulated US site I would assume you could provide evidence to the gaming commission.

You're basing your accusation not on data but memory/feelings which are extremely susceptible to confirmation bias. Not to mention your sample size is incredibly small.

Ah yes, the classic ‘I lost a hand so poker is rigged’ logic. Maybe if you spent less time crying about RNG and more time fixing your garbage plays, you’d actually win something.

Hey it looks like he was a 'pro' at one point. Shows someone of similar name playing on Pokerstars prior to Black Friday (with their last games on April 15th 2011, the very same day the DOJ suspended the main poker sites from the USA).
Played OVER 1,000 tourneys with a whopping average buyin of $1.20 and a profit of $261.00 (a decent wage if one is living in one's Mom's basement)

I'm curious about something... When exactly did OP discover that online poker was 'rigged'? And prior to that time was OP himself a moron? (or was it just everybody else who didn't receive the memo at the same time as OP?)

On reliable sites, this is variance! That's all! There's no reason for sites to lose money with manipulation because they already make a lot of money, and I don't think they would run the risk of losing total credibility.

Of course, online gambling, any kind of gambling, is mostly falsified. There may be exceptions, but I think they are very rare. Nevertheless, online poker is a good entertainment, and if you are a patient and disciplined player, you are not in danger

I guess it's not that rigged since Esoxhunter411 is still playing today and yesterday on PokerstarsNJ....

But please tell me more about how a competitive strategy game played for money is rigged because the other players at the table don't let you win every day.

When I read a response like your's here ^ it has me wondering "Where are you getting your information from? What are you basing this response upon?"

I see lots of players who are playing large buyin tournaments online & I'm yet to hear a single one of them suggest it's falsified. And many of them have 'profit' of well over $1 Million. I wonder if they're aware that they are potentially in danger.

I really really hope you are trolling because otherwise you sound like sore loser who can’t possibly have been unlucky - so it must be that the big poker sites are out to get you which makes absolutely no sense whatsoever in any way shape or form.

Let’s have a little think about this shall we. The only way your accusation could make sense is if what you are saying is the player that bad beat you was not real player but the poker sites bot? And you are also telling me that this person who beat you then went on to win the game, or at least finish top 3 right?

Because that is the ONLY way favouring one player over another in a tournament would be beneficial to the site. By winning the prize pool.

I mean you realise that the sites make their money from the rake right? And no matter who wins they get the same rake right? And boy do they make on that rake.

Let’s think a little more shall we? So poker sites are scrutinised constantly, attacked and targeted constantly by people wanting to exploit in any way possible right? So they take security and integrity very seriously - because any breach of the integrity of the site is likely to have them a)shut down b) criminally charged c) never trusted again. The amount of random data used in their card generators for example is baffling. Now, if all the tournaments were being won by some psycho moron calling everyone with 5 8 off and hitting wonder boards; don’t you think it might start becoming suspicious- especially to those who have been playing these sites and games for a long time and generally know or have played most of the field at some point? What about those that analyse games for a living, the streamers, those that live and breathe all that’s online poker - You know the same ones that track down the stables and bot players, those that notice collusion and strange behaviours - or similar behaviours on different ‘usernames’. Because this happens regularly- check your emails - I guarantee you’ll find one from a big site explaining they found players exploiting and have compensated anyone who may have been affected. Do you think that if the sites really were rigged that maybe they’d have caught on to it - as they have the ones that were?

And I’m talking the big sites - PokerStars, GG, Party, 888, not dodgy little ap store poker sites. As I expect you are too.

When you play online you see a LOT more hands than you do Live, but statistically if you looked at a selection of both you would see similar outcomes. Bearing in mind online games are a LOT cheaper, and some people play a lot looser when they haven’t got to look you in the face afterwards.

To summarise then, there is absolutely no benefit to the site to rig a game of poker. The rake is the same no matter who wins. So really anyone who thinks online poker is rigged is a moron really right?

I earn about $100 a month from poker. When I think that online poker is rigged, it makes it psychologically easier for me to accept my meagre profits. If I thought that online poker is not rigged, then I would understand that the problem is me and my skills. Do you understand my point?
Thinking that online poker is rigged is just psychologically convenient for those players who lack skills because then they have an excuse for their failures. I hope I have explained my position on this issue in a clear way
