Which country is going to win the Fifa World Cup?

From what I have seen this world cup and the previous one. European power depends on what France and perhaps Spain can do. Germany and Italy are far from what they were and England is always a promise that never stops taking the leap to the next level. The rest of the 2nd and 3rd order European teams are too far away

I actually agree with that take after watching all the World Cup games this year. Right now, France still looks like Europes strongest side, and Spain isnt far behind. The way Germany played in their recent matches was an absolute disaster. They really didnt deserve to advance. They would have suffered a humiliating 0–10 defeat against Brazil or France. Lets see how Portugal plays in a bit, they need to step it up too, otherwise CR7 wont be winning that World Cup title before he retires.

The Chip in the ball left Croatia without a draw against Portugal and left it out of the world cup. What I don't understand is if the ball has a sensor and it is activated. Why did the referee of the game of the match go to the var to see the play? Because if the Croatian player actually touched the ball with his head, the other player was clearly ahead. I don't like some new rules at all. You have to trust what they show you with technology, but that is easily manipulated.

That's why it's rare that in yesterday's game the referee went to the VAR. Allegedly, the sensor indicated that the Croatian player touched the ball. And there is no picture to 100% confirm that the Croatian player touched the ball with his head.

Did you see the snicko graph, like they use in cricket? It showed a brush on the player, a noise basically.....so in reality, the ball brushed the defenders hair making the attacker offiside. This is NOT football, this is nonsense.....

I don't think Argentina is a top favourite anymore after that match against Cape Verde.
The number 1 shouldn't struggle against a tiny nation, first time at a world cup

Argentina didn't play well. But Cape Verde didn't lose in the 90 minutes against anyone in this world cup. He tied with Uruguay and Spain and Argentina could barely win in extra time. Without a doubt, he did better in the world than many national teams

The Ref going to VAR was not about the the Croatian player touching the ball it was about the Portugal player touching the ball after the header and before the offside player touches it.
If he deliberately played at the ball (he did not) then the Croation player would have been onside as it would have been classed as a backpass. Ref's decision on deliberately playing the ball.

Cape Verde was awesome!
I was rooting for them to kick out Argentina. They would have deserved it.

the pundits are saying 'france won and soccer did too ' after paraguay's rough play and gamesmanship wasn't enough . the ref also didn't do much to keep things reasonable .
