Argentina reaches the final spending all their lives, playing with huge balls.

I live two blocks from the main monument here, and people is celebrating, I guess as a sign of recognition of the effort, and the way every player gave everything and more.

I believe we can officially pass the nickname "The Machine" from Germany to Spain. That's the impression I got watching their team. 1 goal conceded in the entire tourney, making the world's best attackers look like Segunda players. La Máquina.

Argentina didn't have a single shot on target in the full 90 minutes. 😂 What was that? I think the match would have been much more entertaining if England had made it through instead.

After Saturday’s goal-fest in the bronze medal match, it was almost inevitable that Sunday’s final would be a tactical battle that ended 1-0. Still, the fact that the Argentines didn’t even manage a shot on goal in 115 minutes is extremely disappointing. Given all that, it would have been a nightmare if they had won. It was a fair result.

Given the timing they might have been celebrating that first shot you had on goal, what with it being so close to the final whistle ...

Pretty sure that even absolute football minnows are also better on that front

Parking the bus is one thing but usually teams that use defensive approach are actually productive enough to try to attack aswell so they end up making atleast shot or 2 if not more..

Argentina was the worst World Cup finalist I have ever seen. Not managing a single shot on goal until the 120th minute is just abysmal. And how a player like Paredes can commit six fouls after getting a yellow card without seeing a second yellow-red card is a complete mystery to me... If you play that dirty, you get what you deserve. Congratulations, Spain! Good Game, Well Played!

I dont like how Argentinia behaved throughout the tournament but that does not mean i am angry... actually i couldn't be more happy today 😄

Maybe its true what u are saying and a small group was celebrating somewhere but in the news i saw fights with police and people destroying things so i guess those celebrating were in the vast minority.
